July 23, 2011. The day where heaven crowned a new angel but at the same time, our world lost a muse for our generation. It brings me to tears as I think about the beautiful contributions this woman has brought not only to my life, but to our society. Please don't let today pass by without recognizing this beautiful, talented, and soulful human being. She wanted to know that her creations meant something to someone. That her voice would not only heal but inspire. I love you Amy. And I want you to know so do millions of others.
“My greatest fear is probably dying with no one knowing of any contribution I’d ever made to creative music.”
Amy Jade Winehouse ( September 14th, 1983 - July 23rd, 2011 )
"I would have said to her, slow down. Life teaches you how to live it if you live long enough."
Tony Bennet when asked what he would have said to Amy Winehouse had he had the chance.
