2019 resolutions

A little late but here goes.

-Be a better document-er, take more pics & videos. post so i don’t forget/lose them

-Be a better friend. Stop being lazy and get out of your bubble/comfort zone. Reach out to people more, and make an effort to hang out. Hope that friends can understand.

-Be healthier. ugh kill me on this one, but I really need to lose weight. heaviest i’ve ever been in my life.

-Be more on top of shit... whether it’s going to the hair salon more regularly to upkeep my hair, or scheduling dentist appts and not waiting until December 2019 to do so.

-Be a better, daughter, sister, aunt, gf, friend, person in general.

A secret I have to share: I love reality TV shows.

Its so bad... but so good. 

A reason why I think I enjoy them is because I feel like I can empathize with some people on the show. Yes, the show is typically filled with drama, crazy absurd behavior, and ridiculous scenarios, but in the end... human emotions are the same.

Something I can say I’ve learned from this is that .. people are different. Some times, people will not see eye to eye ... and that is okay.

I find it hilarious that I love these reality TV shows because all it is, is drama DRAMA draaaaaaama. And I really despise drama, so I do all that I can to avoid it. People will say I’m a people pleaser, and hate that word BUT I cannot deny that. I completely am. I never want to upset anyone or spread negativity. But that in itself can also piss people off (you really can’t please everyone lol). I also realized that drama in life is inevitable and you cannot avoid it. I used to try to avoid it at all costs... refusing to get out of my house, losing lots of friendships, and just becoming MIA. But in the end, you’ll always encounter people that disagree with the person you are.

Last weekend, I had a girls day with 2 of my closest friends from college. Well -- I should say girls night because during the day, we were also with her husband.

I had a great time, filled with lots of laughs. And additionally I figured out some things..

......and I had to leave to do something for work and I have no motivation to finish this post.
