hello homestuck kinnies that live in my computer
i finally went ahead and made a classpect quiz based on my personal conception of how things work. that means it's probably one of the more accurate classpect quizzes out there. consists of two parts. 20 questions total. go take it, share it, argue about it, whatever. have fun.
....Crud. So, generally I don't put very much stock in these kinds of quizzes as I've taken a lot of silly Quotev quizzes back in the day. I've already been determined a Sylph of Hope as I got my class from a fan quiz that uses enneagram personality scores to decide, and then my aspect from the official extended zodiac quiz (I took it many times to gauge frequency of results and the ones I would get are Light, Life, and Hope. and I felt Hope was the one out of those 3).
So when the first part of this quiz gave me Rogue I was ready to laugh. Then the second gave me Rage and I thought that was ridiculous. But... it is suspiciously interesting that I managed to get the opposite of my current aspect.... since we know that players can ghost their opposite aspects. So it is technically possible to be a Rage player ghosting Hope (although the inverse is also true, so either classpect could be technically possible). I still feel a deeper connection to my current classpect but I was shocked by how plausible this classpect was when I started looking up some analysis descriptions. So... I guess I'll have to think on this...

oh btw little update after long soul searching cause this possibility has stuck with me. yeah I'm definitely a Rogue of Rage. I will update my pfp eventually lol
so like from my understanding of how classes and aspects work and from numerous blogs I've consulted, the gist of the two classpects side by side is like
Sylph of Hope: passively creates hope. so tries to help people by giving them hope but like through encouraging them to be able to solve things themselves rather than actively going out and trying to solve everything for them like an active class might.
Rogue of Rage: passively steals away rage (or uses rage to steal) for the good of others. so tries to help people by making them feel better, not by giving them hope but by helping to take away their bad feelings, either redistributing it to someone else (maybe like by mediating and talking to someone else on the other person's behalf) or carrying it themselves.
DO YOU SEE HOW CRAZY THIS IS?? THESE CLASSPECTS ARE ASTONISHINGLY CLOSE WHICH I THINK IS FASCINATING AND PROOF TO THESE QUIZZES' VALIDITY BECAUSE LIKE THEY ARE ALMOST DOING THE SAME THING JUST SUBTLY DIFFERENT
Sylph of Hope is the guy that is your cheerleader who makes you feel better about yourself and makes you feel like you can conquer the world just because your friend sat with you and told you that you could.
Rogue of Rage is the guy that is your confidant and while they can't make you feel more hopeful, they can sit with you and make you feel less crappy, giving those feelings an outlet and trying to take them away.
they are soooo close, but just so subtly different. and maybe it was prideful of me to think I was capable of inspiring people at first but upon further reflection it's definitely more about just making them feel less bad, taking the feelings on myself at times (I'm trying to be more aware of that and build some healthy boundaries so I don't take too much on)
So there you have it Sylph of Hope and Rogue of Rage are only like a half a step removed from one another and that half step is the intention of whether you make people feel better by giving them good feelings or taking bad ones away. I hope this case will help others in their own efforts to gauge their classpect and might have a crisis of faith so to speak if they find any conflicts like this.

Our sufferings and hardship started on the first days of the war when all our possessions were completely destroyed and burned. We have become displaced and homeless , finding ourselves in a small tent in streets with no means of life. We lack every single necessary thing of life; food, water, hygiene essentials, and other necessities have become scarce and rare.

You can't imagine what difficulties we have been going through all these days of war. No cooking gas , nor cooking tools exist . We struggle to prepare a small meal of food.
No bakeries are available. Everything seems a miracle and unbelievable.😭 The war has stolen our joy and smile, leaving us busy thinking only of staying safe and alive. Our future has gone with the wind and our kids lost their dreams and ambitions.
This is a part of burying the dead. We also face some problems in the process of buying our dead people as no place is there for the family. Tombs aren't enough for the number of people living on a small spot of land.
