So, I have been diagnosed with MS.
I felt like utter crap when I got to the hospital on Wednesday (first picture), where I had two scans and a spinal fluid test. That last one hurts like a bitch.
I was given two litres of salt water, by drop, to make up for the fact that I was severely dehydrated.
I was told that it looked to be a blood clot in the brain, or meningitis - until the MRI came back, when they decided that it might be sclerosis.
Thursday morning I was moved to another hospital, which specialises in sclerosis and neurotic diseases. Their specialists were busy though, and I was told that I could expect getting a final diagnosis by Monday.
I gradually got better during the weekend, and was capable of walking again, even if it’s slow and uncertain. My legs and hand suffered from sensitive disturbances, but I keep them alive by walking, and typing on the computer or painting in my colouring book.
Today I got the diagnosis. I’m okay, really, and it’s been commented more than once, that I take it all rather well.
I don’t know how else to react, honestly?
Freaking out about it seems pointless, you know?
I mean, it is what it is, and I can’t do anything to make it better, so I might as well take it as it comes, with good humour and attitude.
