I wish the equestrian world was more autism-friendly.
I wish there were more options for sensory-friendly riding clothes.
I wish instructors took the time to break down what they mean in detail, rather than saying things like "support him here" and assuming I will figure out what that means in this instance.
I love horses, and feel more comfortable around them than around people many times. But sometimes I feel like I'll never get very far because it seems like equestrian sports aren't designed for people like me.
