No show did it like Agents of Shield. Episode 1, Coulson does his best to talk down a man having a mental health crisis, proclaiming with every shred of desperation and his own sense of self “It matters who I am!” The show refuses to make Mike another nameless victim, immediately setting it aside from large scale plotlines the avengers deal with. And as Mike screams at Coulson, blaming the agent in front of him for every way the government has hung him out to dry, that it’s not enough to be just him anymore in a word of gods and monsters, Coulson just says softly “I know”
No one did it like agents of shield. No one broke the MCU down into the small stories like it did.
You've been a Thorns fan since you could talk. Growing up in Vineland, there wasn't much of any other option. Even when you hated the team for their losing streaks, you were still a Thorns fan through and through.
"I hate this team. I was born into this and I'm not gonna ever- I'm always a Thorns fan, but like... I just- I hate this team." <- You, constantly, every day.
You've been rooting for Jett since she was a rookie. You have a pair of Fillmore Ones at home that you keep pristine, that you got day of the sale. A lot of the stuff at Whiskers is actually things from your collection of merch.
You weren't the one who introduced Will to roarball, that would be his mom's doing, but you did gift him the Fillmore Fourteens for his birthday one year, and you'll never forget the ecstatic look he got on his face when he unwrapped them.
You can't always attend the games (too expensive), but you're always at Whiskers whenever a game is on. Sure, you could watch it by yourself at home, but you prefer geeking out with other fans. And the occasional hatewatch with Gerald when you're in a bad mood.
The regulars and Will always make fun of you for your "little crush" on Jett. Little crush is putting it lightly, but you'd prefer for them not to know how far gone you are about this girl you've never even met.
When Will shows up to the diner with Jett, it's you he introduces to her first. He calls you her "number one fan and supporter" while you just blush and try to wave it off.
Jett tells you that she appreciates the support, especially in times like these. You tell her there's nothing she could do that would make you stop being a fan of her. The sparkles in your eyes and sincerity in your voice are both so pure and cute that she has to look away to avoid blushing herself.
After they won the Claw, the team went to Whiskers to celebrate, and you gave Will the biggest hug you could. Then, without even thinking about it or the consequences, you hugged Jett, too, telling her you've always believed in her.
She starts purring immediately, then clears her throat and coughs to try to hide it.
With her leg injury, she's supposed to take it easy. She doesn't listen to that advice half the time, but the other half, she's chilling at the diner, talking to the locals. And, really, just being there to talk to you in particular.
You've followed roarball so long that you know all about players with injuries and give her advice on what she should do if she wants to keep playing, or if she wants to retire, etc. You constantly tell her that, no matter what, you'll always be her number one supporter.
After so many years of being so hard on herself, it feels really good to have someone like you around - someone who can finally be the angel on her shoulder and tell her to relax when she deserves it, without being too pushy and making her stubborn streak rise up.
She's the one to ask you out, asking if you'd like to go to dinner with her and get to know one another better beyond famous/fan.
You feel like a crazy stalker sometimes, knowing stuff about her that most fans don't know, and you lament to her that if the relationship ever feels or gets too parasocial, you'd understand if she wanted to break up. She just laughs and says you're far from what she defines as parasocial. You're just dedicated, and she can love and appreciate dedication.
Dating your number one fan certainly raises some flags about Jett and her ego, but after so long of being dogged down by haters and fans alike, she feels like she deserves having someone be by her side no matter what.
HERE ME OUT! Jett crushing on a reader who works at the Whisker’s diner who also used to go to school with her (which explains how they they even got Jett’s high school jersey lol maybe high school sweethearts)
I know you’re closed I just wanted to share the idea but also lowkey will draw you anything you want if you’d write it 🤩🤩🤩
a/n: OMG, Dude I've been waiting for someone to draw my writing. I WOULD LITERALLY DIE IF YOU DO, TAKE MY HEARTT IF YOU WILL.
Jett Fillmore, the ferocious and non-stoppable roarball player having a crush on her highschool sweetheart that works at the whiskers diner where Will loves to go to.
Jett didn't think much of it at first but boy that girl gets so awkward when she is around you. When Will led her to the diner to show how loved she was in Vineland, she realized her own highschool jersey she wore back in highschool.
She wondered how they got that in the first place until a voice called out. "Oh that would be me." A familiar voice called out behind the counter.
Jett immediately went to an awkward, giggly girly mode as soon as she saw you. Her tail flicking, her pupils widening in large boba like to show how in love she was.
When you two were in highschool, she was the cool and popular student while you were a quiet and shy student. A good trope yeah? Popular x shy trope.
"Never thought I would see you again Jett. Looking taller than last time I saw you." You smiled towards her.
"N-Name? Hi... You work here?" She points out. "Duh. Ain't I wearing the uniform." You giggled. "How have you been? I've been seeing you on TV a lot lately."
Jett inhaled, trying to place an elbow on the table and look cool to only trip but quickly getting back up as she nervously laughed. "I've been doing fine." She was a bit stiff.
"Loosen up ya dork." You teased.
Ever since Jett noticed that you worked at the diner, she would visit every single time after her games, either a bad one or a good one. This girl would always come to see you.
It has been ages since she saw you back in highschool before playing for the Thorns. She has never got the real chance to get your socials back then.
The girl was too nervous to even talk to you and thought she was going to mess things up.
Hi, I would like Jett Filmore x Reader imagine, and how their romance would come to be.
Bro I literally love her so much!
Imagine literally dating the famous Jett Fillmore. The most famous roarball player of all time. Come to think of it you are literally the luckiest animal in the world to have a romantic relationship with her.
Since she is a famous roarball player, she is quite busy but she would make time to hang with you. Maybe get you to come and pays for your ticket to watch her play. Everytime when she scores she winks over to you in the crowd with a smirk on her face.
She loves to tease you, maybe playful touches here and there. Sometimes with her tail that pokes you form the other side making you look and then giving you a little kiss when you turn back around.
But though if you guys are private, since Jett Fillmore does have a whole entire fan base that loves her, she'll never know what could happen to you with rude fans of hers. She does little touches in private.
We all saw her mansion, she loves you to stay with her. Maybe have a little sleepover and talk to each other and try to catch up when she was very busy.
Phone chats are quite funny with her. She would sometimes press the wrong button or accidentally put on a filter that causes you to burst out laughing when she is talking about something serious.
But the black panther loves the praises that you give her. Saying that shes the best. That she is the best player in history. Or just little compliments you like to send her way to cheer her up.
Notes: Wlw, I fucking loved this film I'm so brainrotted about it rn so expect more man!
Buys you tickets for all her games and of course gives you vip! If you ask her about it she'd say something like "Only the best for my girl!"
During a match she always tries to spot you in the crowd! She gets a tad disappointed if she doesn't but she knows you're watching either way.
If you're very open about your relationship, she loves showing you off! A paw always on your waist, hand, or shoulder! Always introduces you in interviews as her "girl" before giving you the stage to properly introduce yourself if you want to, if you don't she's cool with doing the talking! She has been in the public eye for a while.
If you're very private about it, you'll get small little touches in public. A little touch from her tail, or a lingering touch from her paw.
Her other love language has to be affection! She can't seem to keep her paws off you when you two are alone!
Loves to be praised! Even if it's little, it means a lot to her.
Gets super pissed if she sees people online making fun of you, or saying she can do better! She doesn't want better she wants you!
She loves having nightly chats with you, sure they can get a bit deep and emotional, but it's really important to her.
i wish more of the fandom talked about the fact that fitz is a SA victim by aida. The way she just completely took away his free will and made him be with her and redirected his love for Jemma in the real world onto her is sickening.
and the way she said "I've felt your touch before" and you see Fitz get uncomfortable around her in the apartment in the real world :((( Even after he rejected her for Jemma she said how they will have a life together whether he likes it or not.
EXACTLY. I hate to say it too but I feel if it was a female character in his place people would constantly be calling it SA but when its a male its not talked about as much...
each time i see ppl use AI for casual uses and creating stupid images, i feel like more and more like mack did about AIDA in season 4 of agents of shield

summary — a while after the attacks in sokovia, wanda finally settles in comfortably with the avengers. so with that, you, wanda, steve, sam, natasha and clint decide to go on a small summer hike.
pairing: wanda maximoff x reader
contains: fluffy, a tad angsty, hair braiding, hesitation, wanda slowly trusting you, sharing strawberries, eye contact, softly falling for each other
a/n: first of all, i’d like to thank you all so so much for the hearts on my first fic, it really made me so happy :,)) and of course for this one, i’m really excited to write it!! wanda was the reason for me turning to a marvel fan, so of course i have to write for my darling <3 i hope you readers like this!!
word count: 1.5k
the sun was hot over the six of your heads, the gently breeze of the summer air mixed with lake water helped greatly. you all walk steadily, two by two on the pathway, steve and sam leading the way. you make casual conversation with clint, who walked slowly with you behind the others.
you’d always have admired the hawk, ever since you joined the avengers. his calm yet extremely intelligent demeanor was one to respect. not to mention his sense of humor, it always kept you positive.
he comments about how the avengers are going along, after the attack in sokovia. he says it was great finding new recruits like yourself, rhodey, sam, vision and wanda. you agree with him, considering the possible fact that there could be more out of the ordinary attacks on earth.
natasha turns around, from where’d she’d been walking with wanda. “we’re gonna stop for a small picnic soon, guys.” she comments, sam and steve also stopping to agree. you’d been getting a little hungry, anyway. “sounds fine to us.” clint nods, speaking for you and wanda.
you all do a bit more walking, observing the trees that you pass by. the sunlight glimmers past your feet, through the treetops of the forest.
stopping at a sunlit spot not long after, you all spread out into twos, sam and steve sitting under a tree, clint walking with natasha over to the hills edge near the lake you halted at, leaving you and wanda to find a small area to relax.
you look at the sokovian, seeing her shy expression. you found it awfully endearing, but also understanding why she kept her guard up around you. you had a great deal of respect for her, knowing what she’s been through and what she can do.
speaking of knowing what she can do.. you notice she’s smiling at you. you look a bit confused until you remember..
“you know i’m reading your mind, right now.” the redhead speaks, her sokovian accent peaking out of her voice. you breathe out, not having noticed you were holding your breath until then. she didn’t seem offended or anything, more a little relieved.
“ah.. right. i forgot you could do that.” you chuckle under your breath. “so.. where do you want to sit?”
wanda pulls out a small blanket she had in her backpack and sets it down near the patch of grass you both were stood by. “sit, please.” she offers after kneeling to sit down. you do so, after she looks at you.
you both take in the view before you, feeling the soft sunlight on your skin. wanda hums, taking in the fresh air. you assume she hasn't felt peace like this in a while and smile ever so softly, glad that she's experiencing it now.
“you know, you don't have to be so quiet next to me,” the sokovian mumbles to you. you felt a little surprised, not knowing exactly how to react. the best you can come up with is a small laugh. “i'm sorry i.. i'm not exactly the best conversation starter.” you admit.
wanda laughs, the sound echoing in your head. it was sweet, genuine. something you were proud to be hearing. “no, i'm sorry too.. i must not be the easiest person to talk to.” she sighs, hugging her knees.
you were going to retaliate, but were interrupted by sam, who had a small box of strawberries in his hand. he held them out in front of you both, “here, i figured you guys wanted something to snack on until we head back.. steve told me to give you 'em.” he blurbs. you laugh a little and thankfully take the packet of fruits from him. “thanks, sam..” wanda smiles at him, he nods and heads back over to steve.
you set the little box of strawberries between you both on the blanket, opening it. wanda peers down at the fresh fruit and grabs one. “i really liked these when i was younger.” she smiles, not sad, but as if having remembered something.
“did pietro like them?” you ask, curious. it’s an innocent question, that she seemed she didn’t mind answering. wanda chuckles under her breath, “yes, every opportunity we had to grab some, they’d be gone in two days.” she hushes, her sokovian accent peaking with every word.
you laugh a little as well, liking the way she shares her memories. “that means you must also like them a lot?” you question, narrowing your eyes at her playfully.
“all i’ll say is, don’t leave them alone with me,” she warns, returning your playful glare. you nod. “i’ll remember that..” you smile.
you both sit together in a comfortable silence, taking in the calming air with nature surrounding you. it does get a little hotter over time. you have your hair up in a ponytail.
you look over at wanda, who seemed to be sweating a bit. her hair was down. you turn to her, and she looks over at you.
“is something wrong?” she questions, looking a little defensive. you quickly shake your head, “no— no! nothings wrong, no.. i uh..” you stumble over your words. “i just.. don’t you feel hot?” you furrow your brows.
wanda looks a little surprised, her body language now more confused than aware. “..why?” she seemed genuinely concerned.
you shake your head. “the sun is scolding.. you’re sweating, wanda!” you tell her, pointing at her neck. she huffs. “i don’t have a hair tie..” she admits, almost shamefully.
ohhh… you realize it now. she didn’t want to tell you about what she was feeling because she’d think she’s bothering you.
“here,” you begin, coming a little closer to her. she looks at you, simply allowing it. you feel silently grateful. “can i.. braid your hair?”
she looks at you. you feel bad for even asking, but before you can say anything, she nods, a little hesitant in her eyes. “it’s fine, i shouldn’t have asked—”
“no. please.” wanda gasps. you blink, almost unsure you heard that. “you.. can. please.” she nods again.
you give her a soft smile, sitting closer to her. she turns her back to you, bringing her hair fully over her shoulders.
you touch her brownish red hair gently, brushing along it to soften it before you start. you feel her shoulders tense up at first, but as you thread your fingertips through them, she softens.
you part her hair into three sections and begin braiding it. the summer air passes by you both, as if it was embracing the two of you.
her hair was incredibly soft, you could sit there all day, playing with her hair.
you didn’t know however, is that wanda was absolutely reading your every thought. she couldn’t stop smiling, and you didn’t know that either. you mindlessly braid her hair, as if it were second nature to you. she felt comforted.
you grab an extra hair tie you had on your wrist and wrap it around the ends of her hair, before placing it over her shoulder.
she grabs it, carefully so she doesn’t undo it. she smiles while turning back to you. “thank you.. it’s really pretty.” she looks at you, happiness in the shine of her eyes.
“…anytime, wanda.” you smile back. it felt so nice to see her happy.. and to think it was because of you, made you feel warm.
steve calls out for all of you to regroup so you all could head back. you stand up, giving wanda a hand. before she takes it, she shoves another strawberry into her mouth and grabs the package. you chuckle a little and help her up.
the two of you walk over to the other four and natasha smiles. “nice braid, wanda.” she compliments wanda, who’s smiling sheepishly. “thanks.. she did it for me.” wanda points at you, and you nod. “didn’t know you had a specialty in braiding?” natasha teases. you laugh a bit. “might need you to braid thors hair next time.”
sam laughs out loud, and you all stare at him. natasha stares, amused. “what? that was hilarious!” sam exclaims. you shake your head. “don’t worry, i’ll convince him to let me somehow.” you nudge sam, wanda laughs.
you all walk together, down the path you guys came up. you trotted next to wanda, who pointed at the little flowers on the trail that she knew about. you liked how interested she was in the florals, wanting to learn from her.
as you walked, the knuckles of her hand bumped into yours every now and then. natasha, clint, steve and sam walked ahead, leading the way. the sun was slowly setting, the birds starting to sing as the flew to their nests.
wanda decided to interlock your fingers. you smiled like an idiot, feeling the warmth of her hand in yours as you walked.
“can you braid my hair more often?” she hushes to you. you immediately look over at her and nod. “of course..! anytime you want, wanda.”
Alpha!Wanda Maximoff x Omega!Reader
[A/N] I've never delved into omegaverse before so uh I wrote this and hopefully you all like it 😂 Thanks for the request lovely 😘
“But I’m good! You haven’t even seen me fight! I can-”
“I don’t doubt that you think you’re good. But you know the rules. We can’t accept you. I’m sorry you’re disappointed.”
You fume silently, folding your arms as you stare down Tony Stark. He’s not intimidated by you. Alphas never are. There are plenty of alphas you could take down without even thinking about it but they never see that. They just see an omega and assume you’re weak.
Tony Stark hadn’t even wanted to give you the time of day at first. You’d tried to make meetings with him numerous times over the last few months and you’d been fobbed off with every excuse under the sun. Eventually you’d taken matters into your own hands and had turned up at the Avengers compound, insisting that you weren’t leaving until you’d met with him yourself. You’d been laughed at, and had been about to be physically removed when Tony had arrived. You’d practically begged to talk to him and he’d agreed, amused by your attitude. You were only in this room because you amused him, not because he was taking you seriously.
“Rules are made to be broken, you break them all the time,” You say desperately. “I can take blockers, pass for a beta. Nobody will ever know-”
“They’ll know. Maybe you are a good fighter kid but you’re too much of a liability.”
You’re so annoyed that you could cry with frustration. You’ve been training for years, ever since you first saw the Avengers assemble back in 2012. Since you were little you’d just wanted to help people in any way that you could. Being an Avenger had felt like your calling. It had never even crossed your mind that they were all alphas. That maybe being an Avenger would be a career not accessible to an omega.
“Please just let me show you my skills,” You beg. “I know what I’m doing and I-”
“It’s out of my hands kid. Thanks for taking the time to come out; it gave me a good laugh seeing you argue with my security like that. I admire your spirit, I’ll give you that. Time for you to head home now though. Leave the hero work to the people who know what they’re doing.”
“But-”
Tony’s interest has already moved away from you as he picks up a tablet on his desk and turns his attention to that. Seems that you’ve been dismissed. Fighting back furious tears you turn away, following his security out of the compound. You walk down the corridors, glancing towards the gym. The other Avengers are training inside and it makes your stomach twist with anger and jealousy. You’ll never join them, no matter how hard you train just because of your nature. It wasn’t like you’d asked to be an omega.
You’d never been ashamed of it before but now you want the ground to swallow you up. If they let you into that gym you know you could hold your own against the Avengers. That you really would be a helpful asset to the team. But they’re not interested in giving you the time of day.
One of the security guards shoves your shoulder and you snarl at him, tearing your eyes away from the gym to keep walking towards the exit. As you face forwards, your eyes land on a girl walking towards you. Immediately you recognise her – Wanda Maximoff, the newest member of the Avengers, having joined a few months ago. It turns out she’s even more beautiful in person. You’d admired her from the moment she was announced, thinking she looked so graceful when she was using her powers. An enhanced Avenger – how you would love to have a power like her. Surely they couldn’t turn you away if you were enhanced, even if you were an omega.
Wanda keeps her gaze on you as she walks, her scent hitting you as she passes. Much stronger than that of any other alpha you’ve met. It’s a pleasant scent, earthy, like a mixture of sea water and the forest. After so many years of combined scents from alphas you don’t really notice them anymore but Wanda’s catches your attention immediately. You try to turn your head to look at her but the guards shove you again, clearly keen to get you out of here now that you’ve been officially dismissed by Tony. For a moment though you get a glimpse of her and you’re surprised to find that she turned back to glance at you too.
Weeks go by and you still feel irritated by Tony’s quick dismissal of you. He didn’t even give you a chance! Every day you think over the conversation you had with him, remembering the way he dismissed you as a ‘liability’. Based on what? He was worried you would go into heat whilst out on the field or something? It infuriated you. You looked online, hoping to find other omegas who shared your irritation but struggled to find many sites.
What frustrated you even more was that you couldn’t deny your biology. You couldn’t get Wanda’s scent out of your head. You craved intimacy, the love and comfort from an alpha… But you also wanted to be an Avenger. And besides, what were the chances of ever seeing Wanda Maximoff again? You’ll never make it past the entrance to the compound again.
Finally you find what you’re looking for. An Anti-Avengers rally taking place outside of one of Stark’s facilities. You’d fallen down a rabbit hole of Anti-Avengers rhetoric online and now you found yourself agreeing with most of it. Why didn’t they have to register with the government? They could just do whatever they wanted and civilians were left to pick up the pieces? How was that fair? Tony hadn’t even given you the time of day. How are Avengers even chosen? It needed to be more open and transparent.
And they needed to accept omegas. You’re not willing to let that go yet.
When you get to the rally you’re surprised to find it’s mostly alphas. You walk through the crowds, looking for another omega but although you find a handful of betas you are surrounded mostly by alphas. This rally isn’t what you’d hoped for, it’s mostly just alphas getting drunk and taking out their general frustrations as they shout absolute nonsense towards the Stark building. It had seemed so organised online but you can see now this isn’t what you’d hoped for. Still, you stay. Looking for inspiration, for someone who’d come here for the same reason as you.
It doesn’t take long for the rally to descend into chaos, closer to a riot and you’re caught right in the middle of it. You’re mortified to find that the Avengers have turned up to break up the mess and you try to get out but you’re too far in. An agitated alpha grabs your arm and you pull yourself out of his grip before punching him “Don’t fucking touch me again!” He goes staggering back, clutching his face and glaring at you.
Before he can make another move towards you he gets sent flying across the street in a flash of red energy. Your breath catches in your throat as you realise what must’ve happened and sure enough you hear her familiar voice “Are you alright? Oh! It’s you.”
Ever since that brief meeting in the Avengers compound you’d watched every interview and video of Wanda Maximoff that you could find. Admittedly there weren’t many but your favourite was her interview when she first joined the Avengers. Wanda had been so openly honest about her struggles with growing up in Sokovia, her anger towards Tony Stark, how she’d originally joined Ultron but had changed her mind when she’d seen the truth behind his plans. You’d played her videos, listening to her voice whilst you were researching. One night when you hadn’t been able to sleep you’d rewatched your favourite one, falling asleep to the soothing sound of her voice.
You hadn’t expected to ever see her again and your cheeks flush as Wanda wraps an arm around your shoulders, leading you away from the chaos. “I… I can take care of myself you know.”
Your voice wavers, her close proximity making you feel weak in the knees. Her hand feels like fire against your shoulder, her scent surrounding you. It takes everything in you not to bury your face in her neck and stay there. Wanda just smiles “I don’t doubt that. I’m just surprised to find a prospective Avenger at an Anti-Avengers event.”
“You know why I was at the compound that day?”
“Stark told everyone about the omega who wanted to be an Avenger.”
Your cheeks flush even more as you imagine all of them laughing at your expense. You clench your fist “Leave me alone in a room with Stark for five minutes without his fancy little suit and you can all decide which one of us should have a spot on the team.”
“Right now I’m just trying to make sure you don’t get arrested. What were you thinking coming here?”
“I was mad at Stark. I know I’m good, Avengers level good. And he didn’t even let me try because I’m an omega.” You swallow hard. “And it sounds like he’s been having a good laugh about me.”
“For what it’s worth… I think it’s bullshit that Stark didn’t give you a chance. He knew exactly why you wanted to talk to him. It was cruel to let you in just so he could knock you down without even letting you show him your skills.”
Wanda leads you far away from the crowd, keeping her arm around your shoulder as you walk. Every second in her presence is making it harder and harder to think straight. You’ve never felt this way around any other alpha before. Of course you’ve met alphas with nice scents but none as nice or as strong as Wanda’s. It’s intoxicating and your hands twitch at your sides.
Wanda turns to face you, keeping her hands on your shoulders. Her voice lowers, taking on a softer tone “Honestly? I’m glad you’re here.”
“You are?”
“I haven’t been able to get you out of my head ever since I saw you in the compound. Even asked Stark for your details but he didn’t even know your name. I don’t even know your name.”
“It’s Y/N.”
“Y/N… I should’ve known it’d be a beautiful name like that.”
“Not as beautiful as a name like Wanda.”
Her eyes light up and you feel your cheeks flushing as she asks “So you’ve been thinking about me too?”
You can’t meet her gaze anymore “I… A little… Your scent, it… It stood out to me. So strong, so good compared to any other alpha I’ve met.”
Wanda smirks and you feel your knees trembling at the way she’s looking at you “Tell you what… I’ll get you another appointment with Stark. Make him see what you can do.”
“Omegas aren’t allowed to be Avengers, he said-”
“I don’t care what he said. He can see what you have to offer before making his mind up.” Wanda tucks a strand of your hair behind your ear, smiling at the way you squirm a little beneath her touch. “And in exchange for doing you a favour… You’re going to let me take you on a date.”
“A date? Really? You… Want to go on a date with me?”
Wanda nods “You come back to the compound in a week. Be ready to impress Stark. And then bring something cute to change into. Because I’m taking you out.”
You open and close your mouth a few times, not sure what to say. There’s a loud bang from the riot and Wanda glances over “I’d better go. Be there in a week though.”
You blink as she finally let’s go of you, returning to the crowd to help her fellow teammates out with the chaos. Had that really happened? You have a date with Wanda Maximoff… And maybe another opportunity to impress Tony Stark. One week to prepare. It doesn’t feel like enough but it’ll have to be. You’re not going to waste this second chance… Or your chance at a date with Wanda.
Wanda’s fingers feel warm against your bare skin and you let out a happy sigh. Her touch always feels so good but it feels even better now you’re in heat, soothing your desperate need for intimacy. Wanda is feeling pretty protective of you right now, her nose nuzzling into your hair.
It’s been six months since you returned to the Avengers compound to meet with Tony Stark. Wanda had kept her word; setting up an opportunity for you to actually show Tony what you were capable of. Despite him clearly being impressed he’d been adamant in his stance – omegas didn’t belong in the Avengers. Wanda had backed you up, as had Natasha and Steve. They both claimed that you deserved a chance.
So that’s what Tony had given you. A chance.
You weren’t officially an Avenger yet. You hadn’t been officially added to the roster but you had been invited to train with them. On a trial basis with the look of potentially adding you later down the line. He hadn’t given you a timeframe for this ‘trial’ so it could be months, years, maybe forever. You were convinced it was Tony’s way of brushing you off whilst also giving you a small victory you couldn’t argue with but Wanda had seemed really pleased for you, insisting you’d be an official Avenger before you knew it.
After you’d moved into the compound it hadn’t taken you and Wanda long to become an item. Now you spend most nights in her room, having turned your room into something of a nest. Somewhere you can retreat when you need to be surrounded by warm, familiar scents and somewhere you can spend your heats. This is the first heat you’ve gone through with an alpha and it’s so much easier having Wanda here to soothe you.
Wanda is everything you could’ve hoped for in an alpha. Protective but not controlling. Caring but not smothering. Her fingers stroke through your hair now and you can’t help purring which makes her smile “That feel good baby?”
You nod, burrowing closer to her, struggling to form words right now, just happy to bask in her comfort. Wanda wraps her arms around you, the blankets and her body heat covering you in warmth. Training has been difficult but Wanda has been your biggest cheerleader, helping you every step of the way. She’s the first to offer to train with you every day. Sometimes being the only omega in a household of alphas can be difficult but Wanda is there every single evening to hold you. To make you feel safe and loved.
Wanda kisses your forehead, stroking her fingers through your hair again. Her scent is the most comforting thing in the world for you, second only to her touch. “You’re mine now,” Wanda whispers. “You’ll always be mine.”
Those are the exact words you want to hear. That your alpha will be here for you forever. Wanda kisses the top of your head and you nuzzle into her chest. You can’t remember any other time in your life when you felt so safe, loved and protected.
Your dream to be an Avenger is still in progress but hopefully inching ever closer. Your desire to finally be wanted though, to have an alpha, one who loves and protects you… Has finally come true. You have Wanda now. And you know she’ll always be here.
