LORD ASRIEL + BABY LYRA | EPISODE ONE: LYRA’S JORDAN
Okay, fellow dreamers,
I am in need of some new tunes.
To satisfy my soul and feed my heart.
Any suggestions?
Maybe there’s a kind of friend love that opens you up. Maybe you didn’t have a place for it within you before, but once it finds you out, crawls inside, and makes a space for itself, you can’t live without it ever again.

New Moon in Aries | April 5, 2019
Greetings and blessings, witches!
It has been quite a while since I’ve posted anything, but I’m harnessing the power of this New Moon in Aries to brew up some new beginnings and offer myself a clean slate! The power of this New Moon is twice as potent because it begins the new Zodiac year! I am definitely feeling the heat of fiery Aries helping rekindle my passion of writing and sharing the magick!
I’ve only every posted two other New Moon posts, and they both happen to be Aries. By the power of three times three, this is my will, so mote it be! Let’s keep this flame ignited!
Aries, being the infant of the Zodiac, reminds us that now is a good time to focus on your dreams and wants from a place of innocence. Tap into that childlike wonder and creativity and brew up some magick!
Let us also not forget the ambitious side of Aries! They are not afraid to take risks and are willing to try anything, so if there’s something you’ve been dying to try or a project you’ve been wanting to begin, NOW is the time to set those intentions and BEGIN!
Mars is the ruler of Aries, which is all about warriors and physical strength! So whether you’re feeling vibes of passion or pleasure, courage or lust, let the fires of Aries help fuel your soul, and remember you are a WARRIOR.
. . .
Courageous Candle Spell
Light a red candle. Now focus on any obstacles in your path, and see them fading and becoming inconsequential. Then repeat this charm three times: By the planet of Mars, I call for courage true. Grant me valor and passion in all that I do. As this red candle burns and melts away, Obstacles to my success will now fade. This spell candle will burn straight and true, May I be blessed in all that I do. Allow the candle to burn out in a safe place.
. . .
Blessed Be, witches, and enjoy this magical New Moon energy!
Help me brew up some potions! (If you’re enjoying my content on here or IG, help a witch out! I’m offering a free 3 card tarot reading for you as a thank you blessing!)

****Happy Halloween, friends! Sorry for this wordy post, but we wanted to preface our review with a few words.
We wanted to do a super spooky and fun Halloween post, but with all the crazy things going on in the world we felt the need for a little bit of a topical post. So instead, for our Halloween post, we decided to write about the scariest, most horrifying thing in the world… the current state of our county and its political monster. Now, we don’t write this to be polarizing or decisive. If you opinions differ, we would love to hear them and have a conversation. But please, let’s have the conversation. It is so important to hear from people who think differently than you, to stand up for what you believe in, and to bring the world together through decency, love, education, and morality.
Bottom line is, if this post does anything for you, let it inspire you to vote. Please, vote on November 6th. Whether it’s out of agreement or anger, vote. Our country needs it. Our future depends on it.
Happy Halloween from the two of us here at An Ale of Two Cities! We hope it is wonderfully spooky in all its Halloween glory. Let this post be the scariest thing you encounter, and let it inspire you to be the hero or heroine of our story as you vote and change the world. Love you, adventurers!
it’s the end of inktober!!! i have learned *so* much in doing this and i’m really thankful that i did. i challenged myself HEAPS and worked really hard to create things i was proud of. i went into this as a rookie with pen and ink and now i think i’m pretty okay with the medium! i wanted to do something big for the last day of inktober, so have some royal rowaelin bc is there anything better than a king kneeling before his queen? i think nOT. | instagram | inktober
