Here is the thing with expression… it often leaves space for others to judge it with their perception.

The concept of “nazar” in my culture is about how the negativity of another persons’ perception of your experience may impact your reality. So there are rituals and practices to protect from the “nazar”. There is protection in the veil of darkness so others cant fully see you thus they cant form an opinion about you…thus their thoughts cant enter the bubble of your reality.

It goes along with how your thoughts create your reality but also the thoughts of all people may create a collective reality. Fragments of experience connecting to the same focal point. How annoying is it to be seen.

And no one is ever inherently the victim or inherently the abuser. Everyone has the potential to do good AND to do harm - and yes some labels or experiences can make you more or less likely to face or do harm, but thinking that you are inherently above harmful behavior because you belong to X group while insisting that other people are doomed to be inherently abusive just because they belong to Y group is in fact a harmful behavior by itself
