The Errand Boy: into the pool
All Zach wants is to be a clown, so he goes to Academie de Clown Francais. Whereupon: a Jerry shout-out.

Jerry Lewis: The Man Behind the Clown(2016)
Jerry Lewis at the 1959 #Oscars. Lewis hosted the Academy Awards three times, in 1956, 1957 and the 31st Academy Awards in 1959, which ran twenty minutes short, forcing The actor to improvise to fill time.
funny how that post looks so similar to mine from years ago…..
A veiled satire for you…
Part I
“Vic started to sing and Ziggy is jumping and skipping and hopping and he jumps in Vic’s arms and the whole joint was on goddamn fire!”
“They ad libbed, they danced and did impressions”
“Any time anything they were doing got them in trouble, they could just toss out the script. That was the incredible talent they had. Ziggy could just wing it and Vic could play along.”
“When the news hit that Fountain and Bliss were reuniting, it was gigantic. It was bigger than gigantic. It was mammoth. All the networks covered it, all the papers and magazines.”
“Me and him was lightening in a bottle.”
Who could he mean?
(and these are the subtle references.)
when dino’s “i love you” gift to jer references an inside joke
Jerry’s priceless possessions being all auctioned off hurts me a lot. But probably this the most…..
— A collection of Lewis’ watches, including his 18-karat yellow gold Cartier watch from the Baignoire collection, circa late 1960s to early 1970s (estimate: $25,000-35,000). Also, an 18-karat yellow gold Patek Philippe given to Lewis by Sammy Davis, Jr. engraved on the back “To Jerry From Sammy Jr.” (estimate: $6,000-$8,000); and a 14-karat yellow gold Le Coultre watch given to him by Dean Martin and inscribed “Jerry My Buddy/ and Pal/ I Love You/ Dino,” (estimate: $4,000-6,000).
I think it hurts more because that watch is the proof, that they didn’t hate each other, and may have been more. That watch where ever it goes meant the world to two extraordinary men. But again, his wife and daughter sold everything, and I can’t fathom the amount of legacy that was treated like nothing.
not to mention the ‘beau brummell’ private joke the two shared about this watch. and who has private jokes? couples, you say?
