kinda hate that she's just some random lady, so i’m taking a hammer to the canon, and making her into an Umbrella corp. scientist
headcannons 👇🏻
- a rebel at heart & sarcasm is her love language
- munches on apples regularly, to help her quit smoking
- loves music & poetry
- was a part of a student exchange program that made her travel to the US, and was one of the top in her class
- she later landed an internship at Umbrella Corp.
- worked under dr. James Marcus, was able to develop a method to help separate and stabilize the T-virus strain with significant ease (Marcus took credit for her work)
- she’s close friends with Annette, they all work together after she leaves Marcus and joins the Arklay team.
- she meets Albert Wesker while the four of them work in the Arklay lab in 1982
- she doesn't like him very much at first, because she had to struggle to get notoriety, and he’s basically a napo baby
- after a while, they take a liking to each other and form a close bond (Alex teases her brother about his „peculiar attachment” to his favorite coworker)
- she and Anette work on developing vaccines, while Albert and William continue to research the T-virus
- multiple years pass, and they finally confess their feelings for each other (world's slowest burn), they elope in 1990
- when tensions rise within Umbrella, she and Wesker discover remnants of a classified project involving experiments on children; disturbed by their findings and seeing the writing on the wall, they both decide to be directly involved in Umbrella’s downfall
- Jake is born in 1992
- during the Raccoon City outbreak (1998), she is able to escape with baby Jake and Wesker helps her flee to her home town in Edonia
- she leads a difficult life in a country torn by civil war, trying her best to give Jake a good life, working as a medic, but succumbs to illness in 2004
