GET READY
First Inking prompt coming March 4
The Origins Of “Ink•ling”
This was inspired in part by Jake Parker and his Inktober Challenge.
My reasoning for a weekly prompt is time:
Because I teach Art in public school and on a collegiate level, I couldn't do an Inktober drawing every day. I would do a drawing every five days, or whenever my schedule allowed.
A weekly prompt provides:
Extension of time.
Time to think of a creative way to convey your idea before you put pen to paper.
✒️ Here's how INK•LING works ✒️
Look for the Weekly prompt on my Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr and/or YouTube accounts.
It will say "Ink•ling prompt for the week is. . .”.
Do a drawing on Sticky note or small piece of paper no bigger 3 x 5 inches.
REALLY THINK ABOUT THE IDEA FIRST, THEN INK!!
Post on social media #inkling or #inkling2018
