Sakura season is almost over in my city! And I've accidentally found out that there are 4 sakura trees growing in front of my house (they were well hidden, hehe). The decision was quick: grab someone who can take some pictures, put on the cutest kimono I own and take some pictures!

🎐Wigmaking: Haku (Spirited Away)🎐
It's a classic non-helmet wig made from standard 100cm base. Had to cut out so much volume to make it look good. Also one of the first geometrical cuts for me and I guess I made a pretty good job!
Didn't have much time before the con so had to speedrun it.

✨️VK Fest Saint-Petersburg 2025: Yubaba and Zeniba (Spirited Away) ✨️
Open-air cons are amazing but only if the city isn't flooded. Roughly spent 3 hours on this VK Fest because of the weather (heavy costumes, latex sfx makeup and helmet wigs in 100% humidity and constant rain are unbearable 💔). But still had an opportunity to walk on stage, hang out with friends and take hundreds of photos with guests~
🎋Wigmaking: Ganyu (Genshin Impact🎋
This character gave me a hard time. The first wig was a complete trash that looked like noodles so I had to find another base on marketplace with fast shipping.
Luckily the second base was amazing! It crimped like heaven. But the hardest thing was to find a proper technique to style all those small hair parts. At first I worked with a steamer but wasn't satisfied with the overall shape. So I've rawdogged the wig with hairspray and tiny hair straightener and it worked! The long curls I made inbsame technique but with curling iron. My hands were throbbing in the end but it was SOOOO worth the pain!

Half-helmet wig (front part is glueless), only one 100cm base wig was used for this project.
Ponytail is fully glued in order to make it more durable, more sturdy and less prone to breaking. Used metal wire and some soft padding to create the base structure.

One of the first of my Genshin hairstyles and it was such a pain in the ass! She has so much layers and spikes and it drove me crazy when I was styling it.
I didn't cut it much because the base was quite good by itself. Just took away some of the unnecessary volume after the crimping.
Ignored the glued ahoge and made it with the curling iron and it looks more weightless. I love it.
This wig was made for order but I had a chance to try it on:

I rarely dress up for my job (hey there, I'm a cosplay photographer 👌) but Argenti as a character forced me to throw on some simple but cute lolita outfit to match the beauty standards of the Knight of Beauty~

🌸Wigmaking: Sakura Haruno (Naruto)🌸
It's a classic non-helmet wig with glued hairline and glued hair parting (the base wig had none). Spent too much time on gluing details when I could choose the base more wisely 🤣 But the customer bought the base and I had to work with it. And it was still much better than 90% of specialized Sakura Haruno wigs on the market.
Tried to balance between anime style and more natural look. And I guess I did the job pretty well this time.
