Little "cinematic" I did for our GMTK Gamejam submissioooon

I did the "poem" toooo. I'm not one to do that often, so it's not super clean rhymes, but it was fun to try! Here's the poem if it's too hard to read:

There once was a small and adventurous Woodworm Who was part of a pirate crew

Though his thirst for adventure was great It was his hunger that grew...

So he took a small bite of the wood at their feet Hoping no one would mind

But the ship sank so quick that they had to retreat So their home was left behind

"How could you betray us?" the captain cried out "You, Woodworm, were one of our own"

"So now you must pay for the crime you commited" And into an hourglass was thrown

While they were at sea, away from the land Something stirred in the sand

It was a grand Scarab o so fierce Who seemed with his horns could pierce

In this sandy cage there'd be only one If poor little Woodworm did not stand and run

And so they tumbled and they rolled Until the glass did shatter

It seemed their struggle set them free Though maybe somewhat battered

And once the Scarab tasted air As fresh as long-lost freedom

He left the Woodworm go in peace Who was glad to not be eaten

I've got a lot of bookmarks for this year and I'm also planning on joining the GMTK gamejam, so idk how much I'll actually get to participate, but I'm here! Might try to sculpt tiny lil figurines this year for simpler designs... Might also upload some more sketches, we'll see!

An unfinished animatic of Arthur and Lance (mainly). This one was kinda made a little based on their dnd version (what with the dragons being present), but the lore(?/backstory(? is basically the same (replace the dragons with doggies and now it's an ordinary world). You can read more about him on my little novel "Know me, Know me, Know you". It's still being updated, but like, if you're interested check it out! (mind the tags tho)
