Your First Guild Mission| Any Questions? Good.
The notion of minding office shifts all by her lonesome held, at first, no more thrill that any other formality might. Judith was satisfied to observe guild protocol as necessary. She was a hands-on kind of girl, with little experience by way of hosting. However, greeting new members quickly rose to the forefront of her favorites list.
She paced to the opposite side of the desk. Dusky Dahngrest sunlight streamed in through the window and landed upon nothing. It was a humble space to look at, but that did not tarnish how lucky it was that Anatole had managed to snag their own corner of Union HQ. Besides--Judith learned well from a certain young man that a guild's laws are the source of its pride.
This was a place for everyone, after all, from novice to master. They would have to teach by example.
'I hope I am up for it,' she teased herself within her mind, a joke only one other could hear.
Her eyes wandered once more to the application form of the recruit she was waiting to see. She revisited every detail, diminishing the likelihood of surprise, all the while fancying the possibility.
The door opened to reveal just the face Judith was anticipating. She glided forward, meeting them with a firm handshake and a winsome smile.
"I've been expecting you. My name is Judith, head of intel."
"Welcome aboard."
