I try not to fall into the "I never liked their work anyway" ditch when an artist/creator reveals themself to be a terrible person

BUT

a feeling I do have and will stand by is "While I enjoyed their work overall I did have some gripes that I overlooked out of affection and whimsy, but now that my loyalty is gone and my affection tainted there is nothing holding me back from enumerating my many grievances, to which the revelations of the creator's shittiness may or may not provide a new and infuriating context."

#such a good summation of this actually#because yeah there’s usually things that were always present#but which were easy to overlook or give the benefit of the doubt#that suddenly become relevant after a revelation about the creator#and it’s really not the same thing as the self-defensive “’I never liked it anyway’

Witch hat atelier x Homestuck crossover (coco edition)

I’ll try to sum up a few of the concepts from hs so this make a bit o sense to someone not in the fandom lol but long story short homestuck follows kids playing a game that ends the world, they are then transported to a different place in their universe where they have to work together to create a new universe to live in

Coco’s guardian would obviously be her mom and I believe she would be a Maid of Space ( after dying in specific condition character’s ascend to god tier, each symbolizing their own personalities and personal struggles. They are made of a class and aspect, these define their powers)

- A Maid’s personal growth usually stems from having to learn to rely on themselves, be independent, they will eventually be so full of their own aspect they will use to their and other’s advantage.

- Space is the aspect of creation (form, shapes, distance,depth), changing, aesthetics (mostly fashion) and is often associated with the color green! Someone bound to this aspect is concerned with the bigger picture and are the most important player in creating the new universe.

All space players share the same general structures near their houses: a volcano (the forge) and a temple (usually in decay)

Every player gets a planet/land after leaving earth ( and all space players have frogs in their lands, as they are essential to their quest) they are also connected to their classpects, experiences and hardships

I hope this makes sense 😭 I just needed to get this idea out of my head i also have the other girls in their god tier pajamas but I got distracted with this so i didnt finish some other things i wanted to do before posting them (hyperfixation made me spend more than 20 hours on this)

Saw this tweet and was genuinely shocked bc this is the best representation of my eyesight (blind in my left eye) I have ever found. It's just the right amount of blurring and form I can usually see when I shut my right eye

Despite he using his glasses here his vision is still very blurry and it just makes it even more relatable to me 😭😭 he really is skilled bc I can assure you that writing/drawing like this is horrible

Edit: I have amblyopia (lazy eye): my brain favours one of my eyes and ignores the other one, leading to my vision becoming progressively weaker, as far as I'm aware there is no surgery and treatment is mostly effective in children! (I found out about it when I was already too old for it)
