While Light is set to fight or flight mode most of the time, these instincts make him a decent voice of reason. He can gauge a situation and tell his wielder if it might be worth it or not, saving them both possible headaches or injury. Sure it doesn’t work all the time, but after being split, it’s hardwired into him to do this for both their sake’s.

Light might be able to brighten dark places using his body, but you’ll never catch him in such a place alone or by his own volition. Who’s to say there isn’t a Floor/Wallmaster hanging around somewhere - or maybe even a Gibdo? At least Skulltula’s make sound when they’re nearby.

"do you need to eat?" it felt so odd to ask; why would the goddesses treasure need to eat? and yet, he looked so human that it felt odd he shouldn't. a little sheepish, the princess produced a plate of pastries from behind her back, timid smile on her face and gaze averted. “Mmm… It’s more of a want than a need really! I get energy from food and stuff like humans, but I don’t-”

Light’s words were cut off almost instantly when the plate was brought into his line of sight - pointed ears standing on end and body leaning forward as if to get a better view of what had been offered. There was so many of them!

“Aaah~! You really helped make these? They smell amazing!” There was no doubt in his mind that the treats had a taste to match. Yet before he reached out to grab one, Light tilted his head and stared at the princess - even if her gaze was pointed elsewhere.

“I don’t think I can eat them all by myself though. Do you want to help me?”

Light is very skilled when it comes to bird calls thanks to his time on the surface during the Sky Era. Yet with the Sacred Realm lacking avian creatures, or much else for that matter, such a trick was put to the back of Light’s repertoire when he was sealed there once more.

Upon (forcefully) returning to Hyrule during the Hero of Time’s era, Light re-familiarized himself with the ability in order to befriend at least one bird in this now unrecognizable land.

Completely indiscernible now, Light had practically mashed his face against the hero’s counterpart in order to warm his face. It was strange to think Dark had been in someplace cold and damp for so long...

The relic rubbed his cheeks against the soft fabric before finally resting his chin upon the other’s shoulder.

“Yup to both!” Light scooted a bit closer, arms now finding their way around Dark. “Sorry if i’m too cold. Metal doesn’t do well in this weather.”
