Ecclesiastes 12:6-8 references the death of the physical body and the silver chord seen during out of body experiences being cut at that time.

"6Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern. 7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. "

Hebrews 11:13-15. bible verse about reincarnation.

those who had died would be given opportunity to return to the country they had come from if they had been mindful of it, but those who are mindful of heaven seek a new country.

"13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

14For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

having trouble achieving an out of body experience?

try it first thing in the morning, before you open your eyes or move around if you can, the first minute with any method is your best chance, mix it up and see what works for you, if something works, don't change it. if it doesn't happen within around 15 or so, go ahead and sleep and try again, sometimes it is better to sleep and let your mind return to this state instead of trying to force it after you have woken up too much. sometimes beginners can achieve an out of body experience 15-20% of the time this way. doing it during the day or at night after you have been awake for a long time is often the most challenging, yet doing so right on the edge of falling asleep is easier too but you also run the risk of actually falling asleep instead of remaing conscious. try different methods and times and see what works best for you.
