However, I will not need protection. There are one of two reasons you reached out, and one of two reasons I will be denying the help.
The first is goodness of your own heart. You do truly wish to help. Which I do appreciate, I really do. But I do not feel the need for protection.
The second is "goodness of your own heart". You know the other Old Ones hate me and would see me dead, so why not protect him? Gain favor to use him as chaff in later conflict. If this is the reason you reached out, my response is such: Fuck off, you holier-than-thou prick, I've become stronger than those fucks could ever imagine.
It was the first reason. But also, you think you're stronger than them? Stronger than the God of Everything? The God of Knowledge? The Hivemind? Sleep? Madness? The eternal Silence? Or Dissappearances? Or do you mean the weak little children of Madness, who are still strong enough to destroy the Earth?
