“Ah..” Her eyes widened ever so slightly. Color her surprised–for a brief moment.
“Well,” she smirks, “It’s about time.” She folds her arms over her chest. Perhaps it was his primitive Saiyan roots that held him back, or his own personal hangups. But going Super Saiyan in Conton was apparently a common achievement. But that wouldn’t stop her from having a semblance of pride in Taeta’s victorious power-up.
But now she was able to gather Super Saiyan data much more closely and personally. She gives a nod of approval to him and then floated up to meet him at eye-level.
“That’s the kind of attitude I like to see.” She gives him a ever-so slightly bemused smile.
“Get even stronger, then. I want to analyze even closer now.”
Taeta watched silently as 22 drifted closer to him, before her face was rather close to his own. From here, the first change she could take in would be evident: proof of a Super Saiyan’s change in disposition. Ordinarily, her being that close would bring some reaction out of Taeta, but his current seriousness was ironclad.
“Of course. This isn’t victory. It’s just the beginning. Nothing is beyond me to achieve, now.”
Once this hurdle was crossed, all things were possible. Super Saiyan 2, Super Saiyan 3 -- he’d break those barriers in no time at all. Honestly, he might as well start thinking about what path of ultimate state he wanted to pursue after the third stage.
Then, his expression changed. A wide, devilish grin came over him.
“Tomorrow, I am going to go back into the God Class missions now that I’ve gained this. I will reattempt the mark that showed me my limit before, and I will conquer it.”
“I’m going to rip apart that golden snake and his ridiculous little army with my bare hands, and claim a reward ten times anything I’ve ever come back with before. You’ve broken into my ‘account’, right? I’ll trust you to think of something nice to do with all of that.”
