There is perhaps, a lessening sense of the need to observe each other with even minimal doses of respect and dignity in cramped public spaces. Such as having very personal phone conversations at inappropriate volumes, on the bus. For this reason I turn my eyes, though regretfully not my ears, towards the sky in hopes of distraction.
