Would you ever marry finn?
"I like girls, so no.
But if he needed to marry someone for some weird royal standard, would I enter a platonic life sentence with him? Probably, cause that's basically where we're at now anyways."

do you ever wish you'd branched out more or made different friends when you came to auradon university?
"Dude don't call me out. I kinda branched out by joining Theta. That counts, right? -- But making different friends? Definitely not. I don't know if you've met Finn Bjorman but he's worth about 300 friends.
I mean that mostly cause he's so high maintenance."

Andie: I'm SORRY
Andie: well, he listens to you no matter what, is a lot stronger than you and knows who to go get if you're in the middle of an asthma attack. He's not the worst stand in for me 😬
Andie: and I'm not ignoring you, you're impossible to ignore and if ignoring you was an option I would have opted to do so way before now
Andie: let's go get some firewood for later and do smores and stuff tonight
Andie: NO chubby Bunny though I don't wanna watch your mom give you the heimlich
Andie: again
finngineering·:
Tonight was maybe, possibly the best night of his entire life, second only to the time he had won the Arendelle science fair for the seventh time in a row and was asked to come back next year as a judge instead so the other sophomores could actually have a chance at the prize. Finally he had managed to pluck up the courage and ask Aria Triton to a dance. Even if he wasn’t completely sure where things stood, they were still here, together, and that was what was important. She looked utterly stunning and he was floating on cloud nine. Right up until he caught sight of Andie.
He knew without asking that something had happened, from the way the tears stung the corners of her eyes in that way they did when she was trying not to cry. Finn had seen it a few times, though most recently when they were watching the bachelor and Andie had been so angry at one of the girls getting kicked off he had feared for his tv remote. Immediately, any thought of dancing with Aria under the moonlight and confessing his feelings was pushed to the side as he reached out and wrapped his arms around his best friend, ignoring whatever words she was saying.
If anyone asked, he would tell them that Andie Megolas was the most important person in his life and no matter what she came first.
“You told her.” He didn’t need to ask. He didn’t really even need the confirmation. He could tell by the way her body shook in his grasp what had finally happened. “Come on. We’re going outside for a second.”
Finn grabbed her hand firm and tight, helping her navigate through the crowd, picking up a glass of water on his way out so she had something to drink from. There was an empty spot by a staircase that he plopped them down on, refusing to let go of her. He offered the water to her wordlessly and waited for Andie to say or not say whatever she needed to get out of her system.
Of course he knew. Finn always knew. He knew her better than she knew herself sometimes. He knew how much Andie had put all her eggs in one basket with Amelia. How much she played this very scenario over and over in her head. How scared she was that this very thing would happen. How much she had to be caught up in the hope of it all for her to even spill her feelings. How much hope was lost in getting rejected. So, the moment he stated what had happen. The moment his arms wrapped around her, her fight to hold back her emotions came to an end, and hot tears began to stain her cheeks.
It was embarrassing, royal parents were staring and she kept her head down as she let Finn lead her to whatever location he felt was best. Taking a seat on the staircase, Andie finally just gave into it - tears and runny nose and all. “I feel so stupid. You should have seen the surprise on her face, I look like such an idiot,” she finally leaned up, only to catch the wet marks on his best friend’s suit jacket. “shit.” she whispered as placed a hand over it to rub it off, but that obviously was in vain since her hands were strong but not magically warm in any way shape or form. “I shouldn’t have said anything. Things are gonna be different forever now.” Not only did she get burned, but she could have very well made things awful with one of her closest girl friends - which was just the cherry on top of a terrible night.

When Mimi caught her first glimpse of Andie fucking Megalos for the evening, she forget what it was like the breath. The only thing she could feel was the deep thrum in her heart and the fire consuming her veins. Not only did this girl look cute in active wear but she could pull of a tuxedo. Was she some sort of Pandora, crafted out of clay specifically for Mimi? Either way, she was going to have to say a little thank you to the Gods tonight.
Her phone! Finally, she was going to get a chance to give Andie her phone number. They hadn’t had the chance at their little dinner adventure thanks to a memory lapse and an alarm reminding that Mimi was running late for mandatory volleyball practice. Now was the moment.
Or, you know, pictures were good too. Mimi couldn’t deny that she looked absolutely stunning tonight, in a green dress that she had salvaged from a thrift shop back on the isle. With a little bit of love and a lot of heart work it was absolutely perfect.
“Lucky me. I’ve got a photographer on my side tonight,” She smiled, moving close so she could swipe through the pictures Andie had taken. “Do me a favor and put in your instagram so I make sure I’m tagging the right person?”
And so I can slide into your DMs sometime this week.
taking a seat at the edge of the fountain, waiting for Mimi to follow suit, Andie held the phone so the girl could swipe through herself see if she liked any of them. In her humble opinion, they all looked absolutely stunning - less because of her photography skills and more because the girl was a vision in green. Hanging out with her was fun and part of her wondered what she had done to invite such a light into her life and this point a time. The girl seemed to appear from no where and yet, had a normally introverted Andie sinking into her warmth.
That and, her perfume smelled so freaking good, Andie could low-key spend the rest of the evening hanging with her in close proximity with absolutely zero complaints. Had, more pressing matters hadn’t been pushing to the forefront of her mind. “Nah, I’m just making myself useful so you don’t find someone more interesting to hang with.” Andie quipped, offering the girl a playful smile.
At the mention of adding her instagram, Andie immediately went for it. Dumb that she hadn’t thought to do it before, that was how people kept it contact after all. And Mimi was certainly someone she looked forward to keeping in contact with. “Done.” she said, handing back the phone. “you know you letting me hold your phone for that long says a lot about your personality. People’s phones are like their children.” she teased, thinking about the amount of embarrassing content on her own phone. Mostly texts and memes from Finn. “You must trust me.”
cori-thana·:
balls, stuffy and formal as they were, were still parties. and seeing as even the most curious of auradon citizens tended to avoid the demigod daughter of the god of the underworld, it left her pretty free to roll on whatever high she had chosen for the night, network where she could, and then leave early enough to shed her fancy dress for a crop top and jeans and catch the tail end of the bar crowd. which was pretty much exactly what she was doing, pulling up the uber app on her phone and groaning at the surge. it was gonna be like twenty minutes before the uber even reached the grounds and then she’d probably have to hitch-hike to it. in heels. in her periphery, cori noticed someone sitting down peek around their hands as if they were waiting for the uber, too. she thought maybe, she heard a very quiet sniffle, too.
she realized it was her cousin–or something like a cousin, cori had never taken the time to learn those types of familial things–and though her first instinct was to just ignore it and mind her business, she found after a few moments that she couldn’t. cori had never quite been able to ignore a crying girl at a party. even if it was just her kind-of upset quasi-cousin at a ball. she was sure andie could hear her heels coming before she spoke, but she still started speaking in a quiet tone. “hey…. uh, are you okay?” she shifted her weight from one foot to another, and gestured to her outfit. “you look cold, and…” she hesitated, not sure if this kind of prying would be welcomed and added, “you sound like you might have a cold, too. or is it something else?”
Andie was sure she had no tears left to cry after her little breakdown with Finn, but obviously that wasn’t the case - and she was doing her best to keep them at bay, instead of full streaming, they just hung in the corner of the eyes, waiting for prompting. Which came in the form of, the girl Andie had watched from a far but never mustered the courage to bridge the gap with. After all, who was she? With all she had grown up with, to force some sort of bond with it wasn’t requested.
Wiping her face with the sleeve of her white shirt, not really thinking about the mascara she had on. Shit. This is why she didn’t bother with the stuff most of the time. “I’ll be fine.” Andie said, and she believed it, she would be - just right now? This freaking sucked. Big time. “Balls like this aren’t as magical as the history books make them out to be.” the brunette continued, rolling her eyes at her own silliness. She wasn’t one to get caught up in the romance of it all but she really thought Amelia was her person. how could she be so wrong? “I don’t really get sick.” Andie shrugged, realizing how privileged she was to even say that, only after the words left her mouth. “but I can’t get drunk either so I guess you win some you lose some.” Scanning over her cousin, she let curiosity take over. “Do you? Get sick I mean?” She had a strange sense from afar that the drunk thing was kind of a given.
(◕‿◕✿)
Tonight at been a total bust. Not wanting the be a downer on anyone else’s night, Andie had snuck out to wait for her Uber, who would be a while thanks to the high demand on account of such a huge event. Slipping the loose tie from around her neck and stuffing it in her pocket, Andie took a seat on one of the front steps near the corner. Out of anyone’s way, but close enough that she could spot if the car she was looking for pulled up.
It was cold - and Andie immediately regretted not bringing a thick suit jacket upon arrival. She was slightly more resilient to cold, but night by much - she still felt a bitter sting at the tip of her nose and fingers. Enough that it warranted some judgmental looks from older folks who were probably internally scolding her for being outside in nothing more than a cotton pressed shirt. Maybe they thought she was an emotional drunk - which would have normally been amusing since she couldn’t actually get drunk, but right now was just irritating. She ignored them in favor of resting her head in her hands, looking up only occasionally so that she wouldn’t miss her ride. How could she be so stupid? @cori-thana
She had come into the bathroom to settle her emotions, she should have known that the place would be filled to the brim with ladies who were fixing their hair or make up, or even just socializing. So, she waited in the stall until she could hear it clear out before she emerged. Nope. She was not that person who would get caught crying in the event bathroom. So taking in a large breath, she adjusted the collar of her shirt, smoothed out her dress pants and grabbed her champagne flute of water just in time for another girl to waltz in and collide with her in the door frame.
"Oh my gods, are you ok?" Andie immediately concerned, not about the small amount of water that has sloshed from above the rim of her cup onto her dress, but instead that the impact would have hurt the other girl, who now that she looked up to meet her eyes, was Bridge. Shit. This was the last person she wanted to see right now, second only to Amelia herself. But she couldn't very well walk away, so she backed up and grabbed one of the prestine linen towels and handed it to the blonde. "It's only water, it shouldn't leave a stain or anything." She tried to reassure her. @bridgettecharming
Gods, this had been such a disaster. She couldn’t remember the last time she felt so stupid and if she could go back and not say a word to Amelia about how she felt, she would. But she couldn’t do that, and this place was crowded as hell so she couldn’t even hide the pain on her face as she waded through hoards of people until she finally found her best friend, the one person she wanted to talk to right now. She would have just waited outside, called herself an UBER and ducked out - but, to top off a horrible night, she had come unprepared and her phone had died.
She didn’t want to interrupt his night with Aria, not when he had finally gotten the courage to ask her in the first place. She knew his heart, that he would immediately put his night on hold to console her - and she didn’t want that. So it was a relief to notice she had caught him alone for a moment. “Finn, can I use your phone to call an Uber? Mine’s dead.” her voice was quiet and laced with sad urgency, and her main focus was choking back the tears were threatening to fall. She could not deal with being emotional in front of all these people right now. @finngineering
“Hey, beautiful.” Andie greeted her best friend, the two hadn’t gotten a chance to steal each other away, both mingling with the masses both of the night. But now that Andie got full view of Amelia - she could swear her heart skipped a beat. She looked amazing - when did she not? But Amelia was just one of those people who was built to wear high end formal wear. It was the perfect accessory to her perfect smile. Gods, ever since Finn had asked Aria to go to this thing, Andie had felt some sort of duty to take his advice, regardless of fear. Surely, if he could ask his crush out, she could be honest about her feelings to Amelia? Right?
“Wanna go grab some air with me? This place is stuffy as hell.” the brunette suggested, feeling the room grow more full by the minute. Plus, she didn’t want to risk having to talk over people or worrying about either of them getting pulled away again. So, with a soft smile, she extended her hand for Amelia to take. @princessroux
The Roux castle was insane, and had a totally different archetchture than any of the buildings she grew up surrounded by in Olympus. It was beautifully antique and covered in old portraits that were well kept but looked, very, very dated. When Andie wasn’t connected to Finn at the hip, or scanning the ballroom for Amelia, she was wandering and mingling and trying not to look like the introvert she was. Thanks to her DNA, she couldn’t even use alcohol as a way to open up, so she found herself admiring the art, despite the fact that she didn’t consider herself the most creative type of person.
However, she spotted someone who might be. Future leader of Wonderland. Definitely looked like a stoner, rumored to sell drugs last year to a few of her tourney teammates before they got drug tested and knocked from the team. That, obviously, wasn’t her business. Reaching out to touch one of the statues, placing her hand in it’s, to jokingly shake it, it snapped right off - much to Andie’s surprise... she didn’t even grip it that hard, what the hell. Immediately looking over her shoulder in panic, she felt like an idiot when she made eye contact and knew for a fact he had seen that whole thing. “Ha...”
“Please don’t tell anyone you saw that. I have no idea how protective Ame’s brother is about that stuff.” taking another look, she squinted her eyes. “Honestly I kinda think it looks better that way. But you’re the artist right? You’d know better than I would.” She had seen his flyers around town, about his studio. She was gonna ask Finn to go so she could watch him pretend to be an art connoisseur. @orionliddle
Finn was Andie’s best friend, her number one. Since the two had met, they’ve been an odd pair. He was... unique and some would describe him as nerdy - but expressive and passionate. Andie was more reserved, introverted - her brute strength her feeling like she was a little bit of an outsider among other students at AU, but Finn never made her feel that way. So, it was no shock that she would cross paths on occasion with his brother. When she would be visiting Arendelle during summer break or crashing at Finn’s place when they stayed up too late watching the Bachelor.
Since the ball was a beehive of girls tripping over their gowns, elderly politicians conversing about the king’s latest personal gossip and couples happily swaying on the ballroom floor, it was always comforting to run into a familiar face - so you wouldn’t feel like the odd man out. Approaching the punch bowl, Andie offered a little wave. “Hey, Fjord.” she greeted politely, making sure she wasn’t interrupting any conversations in progress before she did so. “How’s it going?”
After a beat, a thought came to Andie’s mind. “Oh if you see Finn can you let him know I have his inhaler, I have a feeling it’s better to have it and not need it considering he’s here with a hot date tonight.” She was obviously poking fun, and boasting her friend at the same time. “I bet him and Aria look really cute together.” she mused before shrugging her shoulders. She was happy her best friend put himself out there. “Did you bring anyone? Or am I not alone in my stag-dom?” @fjordbjorgman
“Here, hand me your phone.” Andie held out her hand for Mimi to oblige her request. She hoped that, from their previous little hangout at the dinner, the girl had gotten enough good vibes that she could trust Andie wasn’t the type to invade her privacy or do anything weird with it. Once she had it in hand, she ushered Mimi over to the nearby fountain in the courtyard, one that surprisingly hadn’t been covered by other party-goers with the same idea. “Okay, stand right...” the brunette put her hands on the girls waist so she could direct her, a focused gaze but soft smile playing on her lips. “There. Perfect.”
Now backing up - happy to be wearing pants so she could walk backwards and not have to worry about tripping over a long dress train like plenty others had done tonight, Andie stopped a few feet away and opened the camera on Mimi’s phone. “You look way to awesome to not have photo evidence.” she smiled, figuring she was doing the beauty a solid. “I would’ve used my phone but it’s dead.” she explained as she took a couple shots, first vertical then horizontal. For options. “Not to brag but I have photo credit on almost all my friends instagram’s. I’m that good.” she joked, knowing very well it took no skill to old a phone at arms length and take a subpar instagram shot - but hanging out with the isle born and being a little goofy was a fun way to spend, what was expected to be kind of a stuffy event. @mimithefirst
