calling people’s music taste shit is so mean and unwarranted in 99% of scenarios. taste is subjective, and just because you don’t like a song or artist doesn’t mean someone else can’t or shouldn’t. the only time i see an exception is if the song or artist is severely problematic to the point it’s really weird to like it.
The other day my mom and I were talking about my name. I've been wearing my "Andrew" dog tag around her because idgaf and she knows I sign my artwork with "Andrew" as well. Anyways, we were talking and I was telling her that I've been thinking about going by it.
I've been feeling very frustrated by how often people mispronounce "Zephyr", such as a the doctor, at school, etc. She knows about this because it's an issue almost any time someone new reads my name aloud.
I told her it'd be nice to not have to worry about it anymore. I also told her that, while I don't mind going by Zephyr, I chose that name when I was 11 and I'm basically a whole different person now. (That's putting it lightly). I said that I was just putting off talking about changing my name because I knew there'd be maybe some pushback and just... all. the questions. Especially from my dad. And I'm not a fan of answering a bunch of questions that I don't feel like need in-depth answers. Of course, I have an answer to every question that'd be asked, but I can't actually say most of those answers so I'd have to make up acceptable ones. Which is why I don't want to be asked those questions in the first place.
But I think it's worth it in the end, the questions I mean. I do intend to legally change my name to Andrew, so it would be good to actually start telling people I go by it.. I guess.
It'd also be nice to go by a different name when I go back to school because. Yikes. I want to be entirely different when I come back. Maybe then less people will recognize me or even remember I existed at all.....
I'm doing pretty good actually! I have a surprising amount of energy, which is nice. I'm working on relaspect flags at the moment, which I'm hoping to post tomorrow!

I also do want to genuinely thank you for being concerned, even if your concern is incredibly backhanded and feels quite insincere. Now let's unpack this!
I appreciate you taking the time to not misgender me! However, your definition of demiboy is blatantly incorrect. As defined on the lgbtqia wiki, demiboy is "a non-binary gender in which one is partially, but not fully, a boy, man or otherwise not fully masculine." This can include identifying with another gender, which could be a combination or lack of gender(s). The label does not specify what pronouns one uses. Gender does not equate to what pronouns somebody uses, and vice versa. Furthermore, I am allowed to use whatever labels I want, even if I don't fit the definition to a T. But I do fit the demiboy label in any case.
I am chronologically 17, yes. Guess what that means? I am legally allowed to have sex! I am above the age of consent for where I live, so I am legally allowed to have sex (with select ages). But also, let's not pretend everybody waits until they are legally allowed to. I'm not saying that people should be having sex at such young ages, but it happens (often). I'm also allowed to call myself a masochist, necro, etc. Is it the safest decision? No, it isn't. But I'm aware of that, and the only harm I would be causing is to myself.

The label itself describes the attraction, not the action. For even more clarification, I am anti-abuse and pro-consent for ALL of my attractions.
Moving on, are we really back on the label thing? I can have as many labels as I want. They make me happy! It doesn't matter if I could use 1 or 2 and still get my identity across. I like having a billion microlabels and flags. "Just identify as a transgender demiboy," but that's not what I am. There is so much more to my identity than that. Do I need to label it? No, but I want to. Having so many labels shows that my experience is complex to others, even if they don't look at all my labels.
I can use as many labels as I'd like. I can also use contradictory labels. It doesn't harm me or anyone else. It might seem like "overcomplicating" my identity to you and others, so what? It's my identity to label, not yours.
I highly doubt that me simply calling myself a necrophile would get me arrested. I've never committed a crime pertaining to any of my attractions or desecrated a corpse, or anything else of the sort. It may impact my reputation or some things in real life, but applying a label to myself will not get me a "life sentence in jail." Again, never fucked dead people. I've never claimed to either, quite the opposite actually.
I truly hope you take the time to research and destigmatize these things for yourself. It can be a difficult task for sure. You may feel repulsed or unwilling to challenge previous notions, but you may also become a better person for it. You may even learn a few things about yourself!
Once again, I appreciate your concern, but there are better things you could be doing than policing others on their identity and labels.

Yes i agree with you that sometimes seeing labels like Andrew's can be concerning and sometimes disturbing, but you don't need to make a 6 paragraph post about it calling graves out. Andrew knows what grave's doing with graveself.
ANDREW, I understand your frustration, and I assume that where this anon came from they were probably too young to be on here or know those terms anyhow. BUT even though microlabling is ENTIRELY your choice, it can still disturb others and such, and that's okay. You were entirely justified in your response, and your anger. But as someone who also saw your pronouns page and was mildly disturbed, i ask you to have empathy on this stranger. Your identity is important and should be something that makes you happy, and anon should have reviewed their terms before judging you, but please be understanding as some younger tumblr users are insincere and frankly disrespectful at times, but try hard most of the time to be kind and are genuinely figuring themselves out.

my opinion on pre-death consent would be 100% yes if there was precautions. Like, the person would have to have a mental evaluation, write out an explicit consent form, get it noterized with witnesses, and then have it renewed every year.
mainly to ensure legality, safety of the person wanted to do the act, and safety of the recipient to make sure that they are 100% sure its something they want.
