Stefan eats children in Christmas and destroyed Elena's life, it's canon. Stefan stans still defend him? Damon is better, he deserves his happy ending with Elena. I'm happy the story is going towards this way, showing how Stefan is the bad brother and Damon's redemption. Damon deserves to be happy ever after with Elena, he was forced into this miserable life by Stefan. Elena also deserves to be happy, as Stefan destroyed her life.

1. Actually what’s canon is that Stefan enriched Elena’s life:

What’s canon is that the devil told Stefan that he ruined Elena’s life to get Stefan to lose all hope and submit to him, like just because Cade says it doesn’t mean it’s true, you guys are ridiculous first of all.

2. Second of all, yes, Stefan ate children, do you know why? Because he was a vampire and he had no control over his blood lust, he’s a ripper, a ripper can’t stop feeding, Stefan was actually being a vampire who was anguished about what he did. And how did he become the Ripper of Monterey again?

Oh that’s right, your boy Damon was a trashbag and tempted his ripper brother into feeding. Why is that different than Stefan forcing Damon to turn? Because Stefan was naive to the effects of vampirism and he wanted his brother to live, he thought he was sharing a gift and when Damon turned he was still Damon, the minute Stefan turned her became a predator:

a creature who couldn’t stop gorging on blood and Damon knew that but he tempted Stefan into feeding anyway, he knew better and he cursed his brother by awakening the ripper.

And I already had a post about why antis hate Damon but I’ll just copy the post here. Unlike Stefan, Damon’s reactions aren’t rooted in him being a vampire, they’re rooted in him being an asshole.

And can we talk about how fucked up that is because Jeremy was at least semi comfortable with Damon after going through so much shit and Damon went back on that and betrayed that delicate trust because Elena hurt his feelings and he just HAD to get her back??

You know what Stefan did when Elena broke up with him?

My guy was doing fucking push-ups, fam.

And you know what he did when he found out they slept together?

He destroyed property.

When Damon felt sad about Elena in season 2, what did he do?

When Stefan was going through his “fuck all of you” phase in season 4 because of DE what did he do?

When Damon thinks he murdered Elena, what does he do?

What does Stefan do?

And then goes and kills the man he deems responsible for it instead of wallowing in his fucking self-pity like a bitch baby. Stefan never makes anyone suffer for his own feelings whereas Damon makes sure everyone is destroyed by what he feels; Stefan is a vampire, Damon is a dick, that is the difference.

Not to mention that being with Elena actually curbed the source of Stefan’s darkness:

the fact that i have yet to experience this makes my heart ache. forget a romantic relationship. for once in my life, i just need a platonic best friend. someone i know for sure is here to stay. i have had friends but i have also watched them leave. and i absolutely hate having to feel that way. i hate wondering if one day they’ll become closer to someone who’s in some way better than me, because that’s what’s happened my whole life.
