      I've made a new character that I clicked with so much more than I have any muse for a long, long time, so my muse is elsewhere right now -- there's not a whole hell of a lot I can do about that. It's also disheartening to get on to nothing every day. There are a lot of factors that are going into this, but the fact of the matter is that everyone has the link ↓ of the page they can find me on for now, and the other page I get on most often (even though that's kind of in the dust for my new muse right now as well). He felt like he was going to throw up and he was so concentrated on keeping his stomach in check that he completely missed what Andy had said. Blue eyes were glued to the floor as he continued to shift his weight awkwardly, occasionally letting out small huffs of breath and scratching way too hard at the back of his neck. That’s when he heard it. Bud. The word made him dizzy. If there was one thing he absolutely didn’t want to be, it was Andy’s “bud”. He cleared his throat. “I’ve been wanting to ask you something for a long while now.. I know it’s kind of out of the blue and all but.. If I don’t do it now, I’m afraid I’ll never do it.” His eyes finally locked on Andy’s and he took a step closer, taking the vocalists hands in his. “Will you be my boyfriend?”

It was a combination of the way Vai spoke and the way he took hold of Andy's hands that had the vocalist reeling. His heart leaped to his throat, and his stomach twisted into knots he wasn't ever sure would cease. Immediately, his thoughts went in a million different directions. What was he going to ask? Was it good? Bad? And then, the words sunk in. For a moment, there was silence. Then, Andy -- in typical Andy fashion -- choked out an embarrassing noise somewhere between a laugh, a cough, and...a squeak? He was breathless. Nimble fingers curled tightly around Vai's hands, and he nodded. "I... You have no idea how long I've been waiting for you to ask that, Vai. Yes."

“I love how you automatically assume that I’m high out of my mind.” He laughed, shifting awkwardly on his heels. Guess his reputation proceeded him. Smiling awakwrdly, Vai tried to keep his eyes from devouring Andy here he stood. The groan sent his cheeks burning again. Ho was it that even the smallest of things sent him reeling? “So, uh.. I wanted to talk to about something. I mean.. If you’re free. If you wanna sleep again, that’s totally fine..”

"Well, I mean -- when you act tweaked out when you show up on my doorstep." Andy snorted softly, reaching up to scratch the back of his head. It tilted after he did, eyebrows furrowing slightly with curiosity, both at the proposition and the blush on Vai's cheeks. Had he said something to embarrass him? "No, no. I needed to get my lazy ass out of bed anyway. It's like noon. What'd you need to talk about, bud?"

"Slow? I’m slow.. I’m calm, dude- I’m good." He was lying through his teeth. Truth be told he was completely scared out of his wits. He was never good at this sort of thing and he was especially awkward during these kinds of moments. Stepping into the house, Vai let out a sigh and shoved his hands into his pockets. "So, uhm.. What were you doing? Just loungin about half naked?"

Suspicion was the first thing to wash over Andy's features when Vai spoke again, an arched eyebrow raising. Baby blues scrutinized the taller male while a laugh escaped his throat. "You don't seem too calm... D'you smoke some weird shit before you came over here or somethin'?" The vocalist brought his arms over his head, cracking his knuckles and realigning his spine, a mixture of a groan and a yawn falling from his lips. While his arms dropped to his sides, he spoke again. "I, ah -- I was actually sleeping."

She flicks the ashes away on her dying cigarette. she can never finish a whole one; her and Saint use to split one to save the hassle. Throwing the half smoked cigarette away, Addison leans back against the wall, a boot resting against its aging surface. She’s sure the place is abandoned, save for the underground party going on. 

❝— You need to step away from all of that.❞   she mused, nodding her head towards the building. 

Offering her hand, the young blonde lifts an eyebrow at him. She wonders if he’ll take it; most people wouldn’t. They’d keep walking— they wouldnt even stop to talk to her. She gives them weird vibes, and sometimes she preys off of that. 

 ❝— Come party.❞

"-- S'a pretty big waste of a perfectly good cigarette." An arched eyebrow perked up curiously, blue eyes flickering toward the half-cigarette she'd just tossed away. At the offer of both her hand and the question that accompanied the gesture, Andy allowed his gaze to shift to the building. The sounds filling the building hadn't occured to him until she pointed out the possibility of a party, but he was fully aware now. "M'not much of a party person," he mused, raising his hands up and allowing for a polite shake of his head. The thought alone was enough to have his heart racing uncomfortably in his chest. "Big crowds of people like that make me nervous."

She curls back against the wall when a few cars go by, the bright lights making her wince. She’s not one for powerful lights, sun or not. Fixing the sunglasses on the bridge of her nose, she takes another hit of nicotine. 

❝M’not one for photographs; I never seem to come out just right in them..❞  She grins lazily at the little joke, the double meaning. However, she did understand certain busy life-styles. She often stayed with Matt, a lead singer in a rock band. He was gone most of the time, leaving her alone with Bella.

White rolled off of his lips in a burst, curling into the air in thin veils. He held his cigarette at his side, flicking the butt to ash it as he rolled his shoulders in a half shrug and noting the way she flinched at the oncoming headlights. Peculiar. "I've never thought I was very photogenic, m'self. Other people seem to think so, though. So, what can you do?" As soon as he was done speaking, he took another drag from his cigarette, tipping his face up to the cool evening breeze. "It's not necessarily no play. Just a hell of a lot 'a work to boot."

“Yes, it is I.” He said awkwarkly bowing for no apparent reason. “Did you say scorpion?” A loud, hearty laugh erupted from deep within his throat and he bent over, clutching his stomach. “I never know what kind of shit you’ll come up with next.” Finally, his eyes met the exposed flesh along Andy’s torso. How it took him so long to see that he was, in fact shirtless, was beyond him. Vai’s cheeks instantly heated up. “You look—- Shut up, you look fine. I mean, heh. You look g-great. You have no shirt on, but yes heh.. Not that I was like gawking or anything, I definitely wasn’t- Wow it’s hot out here can I come inside? Yeah, thanks.”

"I was trying to figure out who was at the door and my mind was stuck on giant scorpion." The answer came as though there was nothing strange about it. In his mind, in his state of still waking, there wasn't. What was strange, however, was the sudden shift in Vai's demeanor when he glanced him over. He seemed...nervous, almost. Flustered. But why? "Jesus -- slow down there, Speedy Gonzalez. Don't hurt yourself." An arched eyebrow perked curiously and the singer teetered aside, pushing the door open further. "C'mon."

        The time had come. He was gonna do it, he really was. Well, maybe. He’d come all this way, right? Icy hues stared at Andy’s front door for a good two minuted before Vai even thought about rining the door bell. “Jesus Christ.. Leave.. Run.. Fuck… FUck—” He mumbled to himself, smoking his fourth cigarette in a row.

     It was the ringing that woke him, and he sat nearly bolt upright from a dead sleep as it resonated from the house. After he managed to catch his breath, he heaved a heavy sigh, collapsing back against the mattress for a moment, mentally preparing himself for whoever may have been at the door. Jehovah's Witness? Girl scout? Giant scorpion? Finally, he drug himself from the bed, baggy, skull-print sleep pants hanging off of his hips as he shuffled out of the room and towards the front door. "God, I hope it's not the giant scorpion..." he muttered to himself, reaching up to push messy, dark brown hair from his face with one hand and pull the door open with the other. "Listen, Mr. Scorpion. I don-- Vai?" A half-asleep grin tugged up on his lips and he scratched at the side of his face. "Hey, you. What's up? You didn't text me or anything, so...I kinda look like shit."
