“For the record, black isn’t actually a color. But I do quite enjoy the absence of color myself.”
“Yeah I know it’s a shade but still black is literally the only shade of clothes I own or grey..I’m glad you do..I’m Andy and you are?”
“The heat? Oh, you poor thing. I don’t see how you would ever survive in a desert.“
“I’d rather die than attempt to survive in a freaking desert, I owe far to much black i’d have to be naked”
“This heat sucks..Why do I have to love the colour black”
“Right… I’m actually off the clock so I’m gonna head out, uhm, see you around, yeah?” She gave him a smile, pushing herself away from the bar top and heading to the back, trying to shake off the vibe around him.
“Oh yeah sure see you!” he said slightly waving her off as he sighed a little walking towards the door and to his car, Andy knew he wasn’t the easiest of people to talk to so he expected nothing else.
“Maybe another time. When you’re not busy.” She picked up on the little twinge of disappointment, but something about him made her uneasy. And her fear of drowning didn’t help that feeling at all.
“Yeah that’s fine don’t worry about it” he smiled slightly , he knew it was a little odd for him to ask her such a thing as they were entirely different people in many ways.
Ramsey gave him a smile but shook her head. “I’m not a big fan of swimming; never liked water much.”
“Ohh yeah don’t worry..I’m busy anyway..soo” he said smiling a little not admitting he was a little dishearted.
“I’m thinking you just need a nap. I know that we are all dying slowly, but oversleeping increases the risk of death, heart disease and diabetes, just to let you know.”
“Is that something you usually tell people when you first meet them or am I just an exception..?”

She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head slightly. “Like, are you asking me, or are you saying you want to go swimming?”
Andy laughed a little shrugging “Well i’d like you to come with me.. if you want?”
“If you wake up, and you’re still tired then you’re slowly dying.Oversleeping can cause many health problems as well. I don’t know if you’re oversleeping, but there are a lot of reasons as to why you’re tired throughout the day.”
“I’m not really oversleeping but then again I’m constantly up at 6am which sucks but that’s just..well just me , technically we’re all dying slowly so that’s normal for us all”
“Ahh, okay. I can understand that.”
“Fancy going swimming..I well my father has his own pool on the roof”
Bonnie heard the doorbell to shop open and she came out the stock room to see who was waiting. “Welcome to- Oh it’s you,”
“Oh..sorry were you expecting someone..should I go?”
“Why do you need an excuse?”
“I don’t really need one It’s just easier with one..for me anyway”
“That is an odd relationship with the sun. Should work on that.”
“Or that may just be my excuse to go swimming with a girl, I should actually you’re right”
