Structure - evaluation
For this brief we were tasked to find a structure that I could plan and photograph a building to show off its features, i had to plan with good light and scout where and when I would capture the images.
for the prefix I decided to photo graph the Emirates arena in Glasgow across from Celtic park, I wanted to focus on the lighting and the modern metal and glass look that the building has, I also wanted to focus on the overhang roof that the arena building has.
I took the images at around 7pm, because when the sun would get lower in the sky and the exposure would be darker it meant I could do a longer exposure to eliminate people walking by the front of the building.
when I was exposing for the shot I was using the iluminated sign, it was getting the sign correctly exposed but the building was slightly under exposed if I Was too go back and shoot again I would redo the shot and get one exposure with the sign correctly exposed and then another with the building correctly exposed and then possibly the sky correctly exposed and create a composite image with the images.
overall though I do like the outcome of the structure images, I feel like it highlights the key aspects of the building and shows the use go materials and the great features of the building.
