You don’t have to be happy right now. You just have to take it moment by moment. It will get better eventually, and I think going back to normal things will only help.

Rose wouldn’t have wanted you to give up your dreams because of her. She was happy for your successes, as we all were. Staying here would not be honoring her memory.

Why not? Surely you need more of a reason to stay here and give up your dreams than just being homesick. Especially if the school is very very nice.

We would love to find a time when you could visit, but what do you mean you aren’t going back to America? You still have the second term of the school year, don’t you?

We don’t need to decide now. I have until Monday, and given the circumstances— I want to do what’s right for all of us. Where my career takes me isn’t important. Our family is.

I think this is a great opportunity for you. And moving to Australia would be a safer. And we don’t-- It doesn’t have to be forever.

I dunno… I don’t want to seem like we’re running away. That seems… But I want Dora to be safe. I don’t want us to constantly worry about her safety. I just can’t understand a world where a child isn’t safe in her own home, that playing in the garden is a risk. It’s unfair, it’s wrong. It makes me sick.

I don’t either, and I don’t want to take her away from your family or Sirius. I don’t know how to protect her if they know where we live. I keep hoping all of this is going to go away, but I don’t think it will. 

It isn’t your fault. If you had been there, then you would have been hurt too, and that is the last thing I want.
