here’s the story as cardinal hill locals will tell: one day, just as the sun had set and the moon was shining bright and full, wren blackwood drove into town on a run down bike, leather jacket and english accent immediately attracting people’s attention. she stayed at the maplewood inn for almost a month before buying her own small apartment, and paying for the whole thing upfront. a trust fund kid, is what people whispered, here to cause nothing but trouble. she started working on the radio and soon everyone was tuning in to quench their curiosity about the mysterious blonde, who deflected every personal question by blasting the cure.

soon enough, cardinal hill warmed up to wren just as wren warmed up to cardinal hill. she can be found at the old mill dinner just as often as in her own house, and at the breaking glass bar every friday after her late night show. and if she is sometimes seen wandering the woods or the graveyard, well, there are stranger things happening in cardinal hill. she will tell her life story willingly, but with sparring details: an orphan with a trust fund, trying to start a new life after the tragic death of her parents. who wouldn’t believe such a lovable face?
