I’d like to clarify again however, this absolutely isn’t my idea. I’m just continuing I guess? An older au that doesn’t have much attention anymore? A lot of what I’m writing is super duper inspired by the rolereversalau by @/chipper-smol to the point where it basically just is that au. Some scenes I’m planning on writing are essentially just written versions of the art made by them or people who liked the au and made art of it themself.

I’m not original or anything, I just found a slightly older au and slowly began to starve to death, and so decided to make myself food.

some background for the comic (though its not really necessary): This would be set during the events of Silksong in Hallownest, after Embrace the Void in which the Hollow Knight survives. Grimm (either a grown-up Grimmchild or normal Grimm, doesn't change much either way) has been keeping Hollow company while Hornet is gone, hence this conversation. The reason Hollow doesn't appear too worried for Hornet in this comic is because they're not aware of her kidnapping, as it's normal for her to be gone for long periods of time.

I love them so much aughhhh. Firm believer in baby Hornet naming Hollow it’s just so peak.

After Aym and Baal's resurrection, they reverted back to their original ages before Shamura took them in. While they did keep their memories as Narinder's guards, these overwhelming changes caused them to be terrified of their new environment especially now that they feel even more defenseless as kids. Narinder completely left Yeshua's cult to "raise" them and found new purpose in life, with his old job as the cult's nursery attendant preparing him for this role. While he hasn't completely repaired his relationship with his siblings nor with Yeshua, he slowly learns to cherish the moment with people who is fine around his presence instead.
