Warm summer breezes tossed the doe's fur as she surveyed the fields contentedly. It had been a harsh winter and a mild spring. Now the weather was wonderful! The doe took a deep breath, soaking in as much sunshine as she could. She would have sat there for hours, but alas, there was work to be done, mouths to feed. There'd be more time to relax later on. It's been warming up here in Japan, such wonderful weather (for now). I can usually be found basking in the sun with the glass door open to the breezes, a good book in hand.

A birthday gift for one of my best friends

The doe was never observant, but today she had one thing on her mind and one thing only: The beach.

It had been hot all week, and today the heat was unbearable.

Grabbing her favorite swimsuit and a beach ball she marched her way to a secluded part of the seaside she had frequented through the years.

Perhaps she marched right by the beast, or perhaps it had hidden itself beforehand.

as she finally put her hooves into the nice cool water with a sigh, she heard a faint hiss. she looked behind her and saw the beast.

During her travels from the kingdom of Rahn the vixen made camp alongside a tributary of the Lemon Wine River where the water slowed and thinned out into a stream. here the water was calm and was surrounded by thick groves of trees. In need of a bath the vixen took a bar of soap and waded out into the cool water. Oh how refreshing it was, the dust of travel washing out of her fur. Soapy bubbles lazily drifted into the air as she scrubbed, silently bursting. Humming a tune the vixen washed under her arm, when a small bird flew in and perched on her paw, chirping sweetly. the vixen was delighted and surprised by the little visitor, and she continued with her humming, the bird's chirps quickly syncing with the rhythm of her tune. It had been a hard year and a hard trek. it was good to refresh one's self for a bit. Just a fun little sketch I worked on last night. Happy Easter Yall!
