NOT FANDOM-RELATED, BUT I REALLY WANT TO SAY THIS AND NOT BOTTLE IT UP INSIDE.

Today I opened up to a close friend about something that’s been hurting me for a while. It’s about how I cannot achieve/get something that I want.

She replies with “it’s okay, I also feel that way.” I thought I had her support, only to read her messages a couple of hours after, telling me about how she got the exact thing I told her about and how she’s rather annoyed of her own overachievement.

This is definitely not the first time she’s complained(bragged) to me about this. Most of the time, I just didn’t bother to put too much thought into it, but I was annoyed. But the fact that she does that right after I open up to her about my feelings makes me feel that she really is trying to hurt my feelings and make me look less of a person for not being able to achieve something that she can so easily.

I am losing trust in a friend that I thought would never hurt me.
