What the fuck seriously I have such weird taste in ships. I’m currently finishing The Gifted and its like you’ve got John and Clarice who are so cute!! And definitely vibing from the beginning and they are both such attractive people so of course!! Then there is Marcos and Lorna who are just meant to be with their aurora powers together and have gone through so much with the baby and the inner circle and the underground and everything and still they love each other and wanna be together.

Then there’s Andy and Lauren who have the power that connects them and makes them dream together (which is super cute) and have Fenris which connects them in the best way and they are so protective and love each other and are so great together only… they are siblings.

Seriously either I need a new brain or these shows and movies need to stop making super shippy siblings.

I know the gifted fandom is pretty much dead ( which is depressing) but what was your fave Andy and Lauren moment?

such is the way of life. all things must come to an end, even our favorite tv shows. it doesn’t erase or take away from how the show made us feel or how we were changed, even a little bit, by it. 

if I had to narrow it down to only one moment, it would be their reunion when they embraced to the song “Arms of the Ocean”. it was emotional and a beautiful farewell for me. it solidified their connection and relationship, proving it will enduring far past what we’ve seen on the screen.

Watching Lauren/Andy faces at the end of ep 15 during hugging I wonder is this how siblings hug when they haven't seen each other for so long? Honestly asking because I've never experienced it myself or seen it with other siblings I've known. Is that a thing that happens? or just this sort of subtext they usually do with homo-eroticism to fish up some more viewers. I don't ship Lauren/Andy incest so there is that. I am way too intrigued by the Fenris connection, but I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to wonder about the physical aspect of it.

(Warning for possible squick-ness to some. I’m talking sex here, people. Mostly in a detached, scentific-curiosity way, but not completely.)

Lauren and Andy can feel each other’s physical pain, and we know through Andy they can feel some emotions as well, at least strong ones. What about other physical sensations? Especially those typically tied to to strong emotions. If Andy and Rebecca had had sex, would Lauren have felt the more intense moments? If Lauren decides to, er… release some tension, would Andy know what she was doing? Would he feel it too? And if so, what does that mean for their future sex lives? Are they destined to never truly date someone exclusively because the other is at least partially involved in the physical aspect of their relationship?

Andreas Von Strucker said that Fenris is always divided into a light and a dark half, balancing forces. The show leads us to believe that Andy is the dark half and Lauren is the light, but what if it’s not that simple? What if it’s more than just that one is born destined for a dark path and the other for a light one, but rather that whatever path one is currently on the other will shift to maintain that balance? When Andy “goes dark,” Lauren seems to go even further down the “light path” in nearly perfect counter to her brother. But when Lauren started to head down the darker path as well, Andy seemed to find his boundaries and start back tracking, as if with every step Lauren took towards darkness, he took one towards light

If Fenris always has to be in balance, than Lauren going darker would automatically force Andy to go lighter, and vice versa. Slowing moving them both to a gray point near the middle. (Kind of like a teeter totter.)

Even the bit that Andreas said about each side having to battle their sibling to learn their strengths and weaknesses. What if that was less about practicing their abilities and learning their other half and more about being the counterbalance to the other? A way to keep the other side in check no matter what sibling is on what side at the time.

This actually makes sense. I’m sad we didn’t get more to Fenris to wrap up the season. I felt like so much happened with the dreams and everything with the music box, I have a feeling they wanted to show much more but fox probably held them back a bit ,so hopefully if we get a season three Fenris will be a main focus. I feel like we haven’t seen the last of the darkness in both of them. And definitely so much more to see concerning their connection. Let’s see what the future holds
