A party isn’t Sage’s ideal way of spending her first night of Christmas break. Kerin had planned something with both the cheerleading and soccer teams because she’s dating a soccer player. Sage is too, kind of. Everyone certainly thinks they’re dating. Sage finds Ryan leaning against a wall a little while into the party and pushes a drink in his hand. “Oh, cheer up. I’d rather be watching Christmas movies with you and my cousins at home. I know you would rather be, also.” She takes a sip of her drink. She leans up to whisper in his ear. “You looks miserable. You’re dating me. I don’t want this as much as you don’t want this.” She throws back the rest of her drink. Liquid courage. Kerin passes by her and Ryan, stops in front of them, and looks up. “Hey lovebirds,” she smirks, pointing at the doorframe above them, “Mistletoe.” Sage shrugs and goes up on her toes to kiss Ryan. “Love you, Ry.” she grins when she pulls back. Sage waits for Kerin to walk away before saying quietly, “That will never not be weird.”

He’s laughing, but it’s hollow and sad because there isn’t anything funny about it. “There’s no such thing as happily ever after with the life I’ve got.” Sometimes Wes wishes things could be different. “A gay kid with a dad in jail, a mom who doesn’t give a shit, an older brother who outed him to the most homophobic group of people in the world, and a guy he likes a lot who refuses to be open about anything doesn’t deserve a happily ever after.” It’s true and Wes hates that it is. “We can be the closest thing to it, though. I’m willing to try.”

“I’m already hurt.” Wes has been trying to stay calm but this was a long time coming. “Don’t you realize that, Miles? This? Whatever the fuck this is? It’s been hurting since I fucking fell for you! You sure do try to end this a lot, but you always end up back here and sure, this hurts like hell sometimes, but it would hurt more to just not have you in my life at all.” It occurs to Wes then that they’re outside, in public, and he’s yelling about things Miles wants to stay a secret. He should feel bad about it, but he doesn’t. “Fucking wreck me, Miles. That’s where it’s headed anyway.”

Jordan Fisher stole the hearts of people everywhere when he starred in Grease: Live and in a new interview, he spoke about the very first time he met Vanessa Hudgens and how in that moment they became instant besties.

“Vanessa and I got really close, really fast. She’s just an incredible human being, such a pro and she’s just so warm,” Jordan revealed. “She’s the kind of person that doesn’t meet a stranger. Our first time meeting it was our publicity shoot for the show and it was the first time w were all together as a cast. I was in the chair getting my hair and makeup done, and she came in and kissed my cheek and said ‘Hey I’m Vanessa’ and I’m like OK, all of my high school dreams’ are coming true. And I’m like, ‘Hi I’m Jordan,’ and she said, ‘Yeah I know.’ And then she just started talking about her family, her dog, her boyfriend and her life and then I started talking about my life and that was that.”

How sweet is that? These two hit it off right away and it’s obvious they’re going to be friends for a long time. Also, getting confirmation that Vanessa actually is one of the nicest people around is simply amazing.

Calla M. Keating, 22 years old, is an actress and singer that Zander met while he was in New York. Calla made her Broadway debut while she was 19 in Hairspray. In between shows, she was working on an EP that Zander was helping with songwriting on. They learned that they had a lot more in common than originally assumed. They were both gay, and had both left someone they loved in order for their career to take off. Zander and Calla stayed songwriting partners the entire time he was in New York and if she ever goes to LA, they usually get together to catch up or work on new music together. 

Mason Gallagher, 21 years old, is a marketing student from Livonia, Michigan. He met Tyler when they both attended boarding school to play hockey. Mason is openly gay, and was when he was still in high school. It’s part of the reason he stopped playing hockey. He was Tyler’s first kiss, when Tyler was in the middle of a full-blown sexuality crisis. Mason was something steady in his life. They lost touch after Tyler entered the draft and Mason started college. 

Alexandra Stalzer, 25 years old, is Luna Stalzer’s older cousin. Al is the first person that Luna told about Beau, when they were still just barely a thing. Al has experience with long-distance relationships, since she is engaged to a Navy Sailor who isn’t always home. She gives Luna advice when she needs it and is the only person who really understands what Luna is going through with her long distance relationship. She’s based in Baltimore, so Luna doesn’t see her much, but they make sure to talk at least weekly.
