Spring Panic is an interactive story about a talented and affection-depraved spellcaster, with elements of slice-of-life. Navigate through ancestral feuds and familial pressure in a colourful magic world. You'll have to deal with extremely serious matters, such as choosing the meal of your talking cat or what flowers to grow in your garden.

Follow and shape the Main Character from birth to early adulthood, and become the best witch this world has ever seen (or don't. Maybe you'll crave something else 🌟)

TW: The game contains depictions of emotional neglect (of the MC and their brother), (optional teenage) alcohol and drug comsumption, references to bullying.

Cerise is the daughter of a witch and a fairy. The both of you had no friends. What started as a tentative first-try at friendship quickly became an unbreakable bond. Cerise wiped your tears more times than you could count, and you held her hand during hard times.

tropes: academic rivals to lovers, possible one-sided ennemies to lovers, Romeo and Juliet/ stars-crossed lovers

Barthelemy has been made your rival by your families, your schoolmates, and the council. When they come back from a childhood abroad, they immeditaly snatch the first place that you occupied. Oddly enough, he's one of the few people that treat you with respect.

tropes: enemies to lovers, ice queen, forbidden love

Daphne is a fairy. More than that, she's the fairy that everyone loves and fawns over. She smiles and backstabs like she breathes, and she has dug her nails in the metaphorical throne of Amaranth Institute. She wants you out of her way, but you recognize in her the familiar cracks caused by unbearable pressure.

｡+ﾟ☆ﾟ ASPEN (they/he)

tropes: golden child x troublemaker, secret relationship, player in love

Aspen is walking 'danger' sign. Toying with laws and rules, their sticky fingers always seem to 'borrow' the wallets of the wealthy. They are a hero to the kids of the city, a pest to the authorities, and a mystery to you. They keep theri cards close, and you sometimes closer.

I'll release the short stories (less than 1k words each, no choices) when I have a few written. But would you all want to have at least one story per RO before releasing them? Or a set minimum amount of snippets, no matter who they follow? I'll keep adding some anyway afterwards no matter the option.

She is! Especially to fall asleep, or when reading. In summer though? She's melting with the sun and would only cuddle for a short time.

Hi! That's an interesting question, I had to think about it 👀

I don't think Daphne would work in a poly relationship.

Cerise, I'd say she'd be open to date MC while MC also dates Barthelemy if they were older (nothing romantic nor sexual between Cerise and Barthelemy since she's not into men). I think MC would have to start dating both of them roughly at the same time for the dynamics to fully work out for Cerise. Barthelemy would be quite tender with Cerise, a very comforting presence. In turn, Cerise would let her guard down with him, which she only does partially when they're friends and not in a poly.

I can definitely see a Aspen/Barthelemy/MC poly! Aspen would be easily flustered by the both of them and Barthelemy would enjoy doting on his two partners. Lots of cuddle piles if MC's into it.

i LOVE your story. already cried reading the demo. I was wondering though, will we be able to have a moment with the parents where they realize what theyve done and regret or like a "congrats, youre gonna die alone" moment? theres a relief in just leaving the people who hurt you high and dry, but i want to see them hurt as much as they made their children hurt

To answer your question, I'm still indecisive in how I'll approach it in game. But speaking for the characters, Atticus realizes it quite soon.

He loves his wife, but he doesn't like her as a person anymore, the flaws of her ways have taken too much of a toll. He sees how their children are affected and he recognizes it's his and Beatrice's fault, yet he can't bring himself to stop her. Atticus is an enabler, he can't even convince himself it's for their good anymore. Honestly, he's numb to most things by the time MC is grown and can take a definitive stand, and he probably expects them to leave and never come back. He'd drink to that.

Beatrice is difficult. She believes in image above all, and she's convinced she's doing a great thing by forcing her children into the molds she made for them. She's choleric and stubborn. She'll never admit her flawed way of raising them, but I can see her having a breakdown in private, alone. Lots of yelling, screaming until her throat is raw, and breaking things. She'd be bitter over the time and efforts spent for nothing.

Okay, here’s the ask I messed up posting last night lol! This took way longer than I wanted it to because it was really hard to decide!

Florian: I think I’ve said this before (?) but Arthur from @the-kingshound because he’s very loving and supportive and Florian definitely needs that. He’s also an example of nobility that isn’t toxic, which Flor also desperately needs (that and a hug).

Marcella: K de la Renta from Golden by @milaswriting because she’d want to find out what was beneath the surface and proceed to fall ass over feet in love (as she does).

E: Kallias from @greatprotector-if because they might actually be a good influence. E is so repressed and would be hella flustered so it’d be hilarious. Then again, E is also used to being a babysitter so it fits.

Ari: Jun Hyuga from @mata-aetara-if because she loves a challenge. She could beat his ass and then proceed to heal him when he’s being an idiot, so obviously it’s a match made in heaven.

Dimitri: Gotta be Xander from @unwilling-souls-if because he’d want to know why he’s like that and he’d be intrigued by him and then trip and fall into love lmfao.

Orion: He would totally romance someone like Sebastian from @infamous-if because at his core he’s a sucker for sweet and slow romances with lots of longing. Honorable mention to Orion also from Infamous because that would be funny and very confusing.

Rowan: Noah from Novaturient by @kalorphic because, let’s be real, Rowan is moronsexual. They’d also totally help with the taking over the world thing; that’s definitely a Rowan thing to do.

Kira: Hannie Blackthorne from @thrill-seeker-if because she loves a good rivalry and would also make them hand made knitted goods with fae magic. Would protect them with her life.

Cier: I think Grayson Donohue by @if-mirrormine because he longs for that kind of devotion and loyalty. Would be just as loyal in return and also would love the cuddling.
