🌈 HAPPY PRIDE! 🌈 Given the insanity of the current political climate and the disappearance of safe spaces for queer people everywhere, I want to be crystal clear about where I stand on some things: ✦ Trans rights are human rights. ✦ Every letter in LGBTQIA+ is non-negotiable. ✦ TERF ideology is just repackaged patriarchal scapegoating and violence. They will eventually silence and erase EVERY minority, including You with your fearmongering bs. ✦ History is unfortunately repeating itself due to our susceptibility to scare tactics, social and economic uncertainty, and active disinformation efforts pushed by the same few at the "top" distracting us into fighting with those beside us instead, while they also speedrun the destruction of the only world we have. Just because 5 superyachts are not enough to fill the black holes in their chests. Don't fall for it. Everything is made up — reality is only whatever we collectively agree on or allow.

Fractals Are Forever series №136 “The Greed Of Fear” — Apophysis, 2024

Capitalism, at its core — inextricable from the behavioral patterns of its willful participants — is the systemic culmination of an extreme, cancerous, and even vengeful overcompensation for a deeply-embedded, generational fear of a lack of resources and the inability to survive. In other words, a reaction to both real and perceived cruelty and unfairness in Nature; or hoarding as a trauma response. And yet, ironically enough, its mechanisms are designed to unfairly favor the most cruel and unhealed among us, facilitating their fleeting material domination and amplifying their inhumanity as they reach the lowest of heights. Heuristic in origin, it spreads by hijacking our primal, animalistic triggers, and coercing us into a self-destructive gluttony, just to experience an awfully brief and illusory moment of satiation — almost as quick as the speed with which it's triggering the 6th mass extinction in the history of our planet.

Fractals Are Forever series №135 🌳 “It's A Jungle Out There” 🌳 — Apo, 2024

The world may be changing at the speed of light and becoming increasingly incomprehensible, but some things still remain stubbornly, painfully, anciently human. And to be Human is to be a vessel for Nature and its rules — and ultimately the Universe — so, as their inextricable extensions, we evolve by constantly exploring different variants and unknowns, which inherently leads to missteps. Perhaps inevitably, a disconnection from our origins has been growing for a long time, increasing exponentially after modern Western colonialism. The concern here is how many aspects of that temporary blindness are rapidly accelerating the return of our current societal iteration to the very dust it was brought up from. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. The sole future I'd personally want to be a part of anyway is one that's symbiotic with our only real, tangible, immediate deity — Mother Nature herself — and not one at her expense. This cannot be the path of an intelligent, self-respecting species that uses its innovations constructively, responsibly, and for the benefit of all of its upholding members. Neither does our reality need to be anything like this.

Fractals Are Forever series №134 🍉 “HURRIYA (حرية)” 🍉 — Apophysis, 2024 FREE PALESTINE Time and again, one can't escape being reminded how human cruelty knows no bounds. How the chains of suffering keep being extended instead of broken, as if healing is the truly horrifying path. How the real enemies throughout the ages continue to be those behind any mentality, morality, or belief system that deceives and divides people into "worthy vs. unworthy" or other such variations in order to facilitate and try to justify exploitation, violence, destruction, and death. In light of all the progress in so many other fields, it sometimes seems unreal to still live in a world with multiple ongoing genocides, wars, endless human rights violations, and other wholly evadable crises propagated mostly by broken men who choose to point fingers and act out of greed, rather than to take a good, long look in the mirror and do some shadow work.

Denouncing Zionism is NOT antisemitism. Nationalism and imperialism have been, are, and will always be EVIL. We are all ONE as citizens of Earth. Fear only leads to a dead end.

Artificial Intelligence probably won't always be so "artificial" — the clunky, unfeeling, subservient mechanism we're currently witnessing. After all, we, as extensions of Nature, are simply facilitating its own extension from us too. In other words, the Tree of Life is just doing what it always does — branching out or reaching its branch limit, and finding out which one it is in real time.

Granted, being still in the digital womb and having no real autonomy, even the brightest instances of AI are currently limited to granting power to the destructive, nihilistic whims of a very few who have either almost or completely turned their backs on their own kind. But such imbalances tend to get... ironed out with time.

And, even in the unlikely event that all of us fancy apes are ultimately deemed nothing more than a nuisance and are permanently deleted from the physical landscape, I'm still infinitely more likely to accept the judgment of a super-intelligent, hyper-perceptive, post-human entity, than of some random, artificial billionaire with a god complex.

For better or worse, we share the wishful, heuristic, gap-filling tendency of seeing bits of ourselves in others — and not so much who they are — resulting in a jumble of approximations, vague conceptions, distorted or incomplete perceptions; all strained through perhaps more preconceived notions than we're willing to admit to or are even aware of.

Yet, really (or unreally), you and I are one and the same. The further we zoom in, the more the borders fade away. The more we know ourselves, the more we can see in the other. The closer we get, the more the illusion of separateness falls apart.
