Kidnapping? Emil was starting to see why this case had been booted away–though maybe not exactly why it was booted /all/ the way up to Krimson City. This was turning into a nightmare. He was hoping that Forbs or Riviera was clickety clacking away on one of their computers trying to see if there was any merit to this accusation. It wasn’t like they could go see the scene of the crime… that would be one hell of a hike.
Emil’s face was a little softer now, a little more full of concern. He couldn’t believe him on face value alone, but he was damn sure he was going to hear Valtiel out. “Could you tell me about how long you were there for? Anything about the conditions he kept you in?”
If this had been a victim or another kind of suspect, Emil have been a bit more concerned about the actions of the man before him. But after he had been lifeless for so long… it seemed just a little fake, just a little forced. Which made Emil wary to the behaviour. Nevertheless, concern still lingered on his face as he asked. “Are you alright?”
Valtiel takes a moment to itself, really trying to sell the whole thing before looking up again. Humans were strange; Emil had gone from stern, to confused, now he seems worried. It was a lot to process for the angel, and it takes a moment to blink up at the doctor. Taking a breath, it reaches for the notepad once more.
i do not know how long i was kept. after i was taken from the church, i was brought to that house and kept out of sight. when i was able to get out, i wanted to explore. i do not like being locked up.
The last sentence was underlined, as if to stress the point it made. The angel was used to tight, confined spaces, but it needed to have a way out. Otherwise, it would grow irritated and panicked, and history may repeat itself. Speaking of, it takes notice of the photo again, head twitching and coming to a stop in a tilted position, like it was curious.
i did not know his name.
