Theo being the only other person who ever called Scott “Scotty” is everything to me. The genuine connection when they were kids, the weaponized intimacy senior year—exploiting not just their history but Sciles’ as well, pushing Stiles and Scott apart while he inserts himself like a vicious baby cuckoo chirping “Scotty, Scotty, Scotty.” Scott carrying that name like another wound after, this shameful secret he’d kept for so long that only Theo ever seemed to really understand: it’s his desire to be held like a human, not the true alpha, not Scott McCall, just “Scotty.” He hates Theo for calling him that and he wishes Theo would do it again. Meanwhile Theo comes back and can barely speak when he looks at Scott because that name’s so ready on his lips: I miss you, Scotty.

2 Weeks to Scott McCall Appreciation Week 2026!

Just 14 days before Scott weeks begins, running June 8-14, 2026! To participate, simply make something about Scott and tag it with #ScottMcCallWeek26, or mention us @scottappreciation.
