Currently listening to this on audiobook. @sassylisalister is amazing! I had already read her book Witch. I was diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome) and some abnormal cells in my cervix in September 2019 after multiple invasive, traumatic, and extremely painful procedures to my cervix and uterus. I had gone off birth control because of women like Lisa Lister, who talk about how our womb space issues are spiritual in nature and are increasing in those who menstruate all over the world. 💜 Lisa was also diagnosed with PCOS (and endometriosis). Lisa discusses how womb issues are often the Goddess screaming at us that we need healing and serious change in this patriarchal world. I went back on birth control after this diagnosis because it was the only way to stop the constant bleeding I was dealing with, not to mention the pain. So I let chemicals control my uterus. 💜 As I listen to Lisa read this book, I hear the Maiden aspect of the Goddess screaming out to me, begging me to listen. We are almost to her time of the year also. Artemis is the one who comes to mind. I also remember that last year at this time in Tarot for Real Life with @valeriefromteaandtarot , we were working with the Archer archetype, also an Artemis type. I'm going to spend some time with Artemis. Daily. For as long as is necessary.
