The Shadow of Malachor AU: The First Clash
Didn’t realize you were such an underhanded opponent, Hummingbird. Crowley dodged a few of the rocks aimed for his head, dodging the rest of the onslaught, spying the figure of the Jedi darting away. Crowley snarled, frustrated at being delayed through a wall of inanimate flying pebbles and his anger pulsated through the Force viciously tearing apart the solid structure of the boulders. A rainfall of tiny pebbles poured over him as he rushed in the direction that the Jedi had gone, ignoring the tiny but significant wave of tiredness that made his head spin slightly. There would be time to rest later. He had a bird to catch.
With time to spare the Jedi ducked behind a rock and quickly set in coordinates to the Coucil for his ship remotely, whatever the weapon the Sith had in his pocket Gabriel knew that it wouldn't be long now before it was used and it was impossible to tell what state he would be in if he managed back on board.
The Archangel took a deep breath and felt the Force around him, moving swiftly but at the same time flowing through him. He slowly opened his eyes and drew his saber. As the lighting crackled Gabriel was running to the side scaling some rocks so he would be at a peak above the path the Sith was headed along. I know, I know. But I would hate to miss such a view... you're so distracting I wasn't able to appreciate how awful this planet is!
