I have found a Flowery cover of "Stronger Than You" and I think it is hilarious. I have been tormenting people with various videos of Flowery clip edits and voice acting to stupid shit. This brings me great joy.
I think about the Black Cat!/Protag/Antag Swap!Camp Here and There AU at least like, once a week. Specifically Sydney. He hardly remembers anything, half decaying inside even if resurrected. He latches onto his Angel, the first thing he sees when he wakes, follows him. Elijah feeling compelled to take care of him. It's so fucking GOOD it's so good. I think about it. So often.
Lyric Anon, I would like to take the categories "I asked the ducks every combination of these lyrics and the ducks couldn't find anything" and "Songs that describe my current mood (A.K.A Hello Other Sydney And Eli How Are You)" for 400 please.
I would love to hear about your Kevcil AU pretty please :3
aptly titled "butterfly effect", the idea is that just 1 or 2 small interactions between kev & cec that didn't happen in the original timeline lead to far bigger differences later down the line.. and them like, actually "bonding" in some sense.
cecil talking to kevin just slightly more before or around the time triptych happens is a difference in just how much he sympathizes. or maybe pities. the situation kevin is in, or was in, and will be in, so cecil gets Somewhat closer to him to, I guess, try to make the journey to the ending seen in triptych at least slightly more pleasant for everyone. in hopes that even though the ending has been seen and is unchangeable, maybe what we didn't see isn't. and to act as some kind of damage control? "if I'm actively around him more, I could maybe stop him from actively hurting people" type deal? WOOOO SAVIOR COMPLEX
out of uncountable timelines or potential timelines for night vale, this is probably one of the only ones where things happen anywhere close to this. it wasn't really supposed to. it is not a natural string of events, it is intentional.

Hey guys you should totally get into this thing i like. Yeah it's mid at best. It also aged poorly. You'll get nothing out of it at all. You'll like the idea of it more than the actual thing. But at least only takes half your natural lifespan to finish it
Hi people, I have a very very old statement because I want to post one, I never thought it was good enough to post but I want to get it out now. Um yeah it's a dark statement though, I guess those are just hard. 15,00 words about.
Blackout
Statement of Morgan Edgar regarding a strange book from her childhood and a blackout. Statement taken from subject January 27th, 2018
Statement begins,
I am not going to be around much longer. Most others who are like me live longer, larger lives but have not been able to serve my god for many years. I am weak in my old age and I can feel when it comes creeping. Soon I will be taken into an unfamiliar domain, released from my blindness but I felt that first I should come here and give an explanation of what happened on that dark night.
I was raised in a small rural town in the country, in places like that the sky is clear and you can see millions of stars populate a deep night sky. I had always loved that time, I would walk the property during new moons and bask in the shadows. The stars were simply pinpricks compared to that abbysal sky.
My mother would read me poetry and short stories before I slept. I had always loved poetry. My favorite was, of course, surrounding the night. It was a short children's story of 6 two line stanzas, "Forever Dark". I remember the words more than I remember her face.
"The sun did not rise on this night so dark
The brightest fires lost their spark
Candles went out in this night
The cold, it came and doused our light
On this night so dark, the sun did not rise
The stars all fell and left our skies
Silence crept over us like mold
Our hearts grew black and skin grew old
The sun did not rise on this night so dark
The rooster had no dawn remark
Our skin shivered from the chill
And those trapped in that night who linger still"
I was captivated by it, I would close my eyes at night and picture the world going cold. I could imagine nothing more beautiful than the world it depicted. I began to hate the light. The stars which were once brilliant became a scar on my perfect night. My obsession with the Forever Dark only grew with time. The children's book was the only possession I kept when my mother died.
Her death wasn't particularly gory or even surprising, really. She passed in her sleep. I often wondered as a child if she had entered that endless night. I know now that something else resides over death, a different domain from my gloom. My mother was not in any blind night I know of.
After she was found I was sent into the city to live with my aunt. If I said I hated the stars, it does not compare to the way I hated that city. Suddenly my empty, cold night was filled with cars and light and streetlamps meant to ward off the shadows I reveled in. The Forever Dark was still a beautiful obsession and that city was sacrilege of everything it stood for.
My hatred for it only grew with age, I would do everything I could to avoid those lights. By the time I was a young adult I had gotten a job working night shift. I would walk through dark alleys and bask in those shadows, it was during that time when I began having the dreams.
I dreamt of a vast night. Complete blindness in an empty plane. Yet there was a presence I could feel. That presence was what had brought me here to this perfect place. I began to develop the same obsession for it as I had for the Forever Dark. It told me of beautiful things, it told me how I could accomplish them. I listened and obeyed.
I would repeat the words to that story in those dreams, like a prophet singing glory to their god. I wrote new poetry to sing praises to that presence, notebooks full of beautiful words to offer to my beautiful darkness. I loved it.
I brought a notebook from that time, I do wish I could have brought in Forever Dark itself but it was taken from my home during a burglary in 2005. Such an odd thing to take, an innocuous children's book but I hope it gives someone else the embrace of the dark. Of course, I mourn it's loss to this day but it had no real affect in my fascination as I had memorized the story when I was just a little girl.
I continued to worship this dark in my mind, I felt that it wanted to escape, to bathe world in darkness like it had for me. I didn't know how to bring it to life, so I asked. I asked that ancient presence in my mind. And it told me of fear and of the dark's true presence. Of a primordial existence I could only wish to fathom. I still only thought it beautiful.
I think my transition happened slowly, the very fiber of my being slowly replaced with that of my god. As my worship continued I could feel myself grow into it, embody it. Slowly light began to waver in my presence, it would bend and warp to avoid my skin. I finally had the power to make my Forever dark.
I didn't want to alert anyone for the first few months as I built power, I knew there were people out there who would seek to stop me. Like what happened to others of my cause. So I was careful, I started small. Just the lights outside my building, then the ones on my commute. It was just practice for what would be the main event. I spent weeks bathing street after street in kind, cool darkness.
It was quiet, when it happened. You'd think there would be more panic as one block then another was slowly extinguished. I mean there was, I was able to feel it, cold and frozen. Confusikn and alarm reaped through out the city but it was the quiet kind. Like they didn't want to alert whatever was unknown in the darkness. It was beautiful and it was everything. For one wonderful night, the city was dark. It wasn't that dimly lit excuse for darkness that the city and stars usually provided, it was deep and cold and perfect.
People were blind and confused, they wandered the streets in a daze. Drawn out by their own fear and confusion, a seed down now ripe for picking. Occasionally some drop in temperature would mark someone being pulled into an alley or side street. Consumed quickly by the unknowable creatures which walked in the shadows. Brought into the Forever Dark, gifted with a blindness I had dreamed of for so long.
I wandered the streets, basking in the deep dark, reciting my poems to any lost soul I found. Collecting my dues. I had never seen anything more beautiful than this true dark, no moon, no stars, no streetlights to taint it's perfection. Ephemeral. It never would have lasted forever. I don't think I could have ever achieved my forever dark. Not on my own, it was a imperfect ritual, I see now. That's funny isn't it? Just a joke, you get it.
I was too fresh, too new my practice had not been enough, the fear was too docile. As the night went on, the fear waned and subsided. My power began to grow weary and thin. I could feel my gods anger but there was nothing to be done. Lights began to flicker and my power began to die. It felt as though the most primal part of me was being ripped from my code.
When the lights returned it was horrible. All the soothing cool that came with the dark was gone. Street lamps came on and every window in the godforsaken city lit up with relieved fervor. It burned. I cannot see in the dark like I used to, I can no longer feel my god in its depths. Pulling me deep within it. My god no longer breathed in my skin, I am empty of it now.
The light and day simply returned and washed away the night. My poor eyes never truly adjusted. It is all dark to me now, my god may have let me go. But it left me with one final blessing. I now only see the night, everything is void. My god has given me my forever dark.
--------------- Statement Ends
We've tried to get in touch with Ms. Edgar but it seems she passed from old age a few days after giving this statement. The blackout she referred to in her statement seemed to be a short nighttime power outage in Concord, California in 1972.
We looked into disappearances that may have occured during this time and found a plethora of reports that were put in during or after the blackout. I assume these were just a product of the increased crime rates during power outages.
As for the notebook she mentioned in the statement, one has not been found. But the statement was filed with several pages of lined notebook paper covered in writing, many overlapping sentences and thoughts. It looks like utter nonsense and I truly can't make out a word of it. One of the pages is just covered in what looks to be black sharpie or something similar, fully blacked out.
This song is so mecore, it's been a while since I've heard it actually but song is "Thing" by Steampianist using Vocaloid Oliver, which personal fact, is also featured in the Ghost and Pals song "Amygdala's Rag Doll".
Round like a circle in a spiral, like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending or beginning on an ever-spinning reel
Like a snowball down a mountain, or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that's turning running rings around the moon
Song is The Windmills of Your Mind by Noel Harrison, and it reminds me of Michelle Distortion :) (that is what I have decided to name her)(Trans Fem Michael)
Blinks slowly. Sorry guys your boy is a cat therian and has been having a really rough past few days. I am fine my brain will sort itself out. Thumbs up.
