DANI hasnât gotten involved in many of the drama because she isnât apart of the club and the issues that arose. Her estranged husband had been and still was apart of the club but those were her only ties to them. Sheâd heard enough to know that maybe having a simple day be repeated was lucky for her. At least she didnât have to face down the barrel of a gun or something like that. âThatâs good. Have you been succeeding or are you still trying?â Dani liked to think that sometimes life had other plans and no matter how someone tried to be, bad things came to them. âI donât know. Do you ever feel stuck sometimes? Like people are moving on around you but youâre still there. I donât want a family to define me but Iâd⊠like a family.â Something to look forward to, maybe the idea of children one day.

âStill trying,â Angel admits with a laugh she canât quite help, smiling as she tucks her hair behind her ear, âI will say, though. Iâm doing a pretty good job at it.â And itâs the truth. Things have been good, and itâs finally as if sheâs able to catch her breath. However, sheâs not stupid. She knows better than to believe just because things are good now that theyâll be good always. Trouble donât last always, but neither does peace. âOh?â Angel says, slightly taken aback by the mention of wanting a family. Sure, theyâre sorta friends. Theyâve had their run-ins, but thereâs still so much about Dani she doesnât know - her interests, her desires, her aches. âArenât you kinda...young?â She asks innocently enough. This entire time she just assumed they were the same age. âI mean to each their own. I canât imagine having like a family or whatever right now.â
