Broken Memories || Tuah & Dani
@danisavin
The sound of engine died down once he arrived at the Savin estate, announcing his arrival to whomever that resided in the large mansion. The mansion loomed proudly behind the iron gates, the marbles that decorated either side of the gate were flanked with ivies and perfectly trimmed bushes. The driveway that lead him to the mansion were flanked by trees crowned in bright green, swaying gently in the wind. Greenery continued to greet him as far as his eyes could see as the house was surrounded by lavish gardens that were properly cared for.
It was as if he never left.
Tuah looked down, his heart ached a little thinking about his friend leaving. He knew he had to come to terms with it, knew that he should support Fane's decision to leave and mend his broken heart however he saw fit. He also knew that it was ridiculous to feel this sad to have him leave Soapberry Springs. It wasn't like they wouldn't be able to keep in touch even though they were world's apart, technology had advanced so much that it was easier for them to talk and get in touch. He promised after all, that Tuah wouldn't be able to get rid of him that easily.
But promises were easily broken. Perhaps not intentionally, Fane would never be cruel, not to him, not to anyone. But between work and trying to heal his heart over the false son and other things that he cared, Tuah doubt that he had any space left in his mind and in his heart for him. And that was alright. In time it would, he told himself. Besides, he was here because of other reason aside from wallowing in self-pity.
With a sharp inhale and a long exhale, Tuah got off from his bike and walked towards the mansion, his feet jogged on the steps a little. His hand hovered over the doorbell, second guessing himself. What if she doesn't even want to see me? He wondered, before shaking his head and rang the doorbell. If Dani wanted him to bugger off, then she could tell him right off. He was already here, might as well get on with his earlier intention.
