— song yuqi. she/her. cis female. | was that angelica yao i just saw in the hideaway lobby? i hear the twenty year old spends most of her time working as a hair stylist and make up artist, but i’ve always just seen her taking walks with her daughter. she lives in 2C and i often see her in the halls. she always gives me a vibe of freshly baked cookies, constantly busy hands, bright eyes that hide exhaustion.
♡ if you want to plot; more about the mun and angelica under the cut!
hi, i’m hannah, i’m a twenty-one year old DUMBASS in the pacific timezone and also i’m super duper excited to be here. here’s a little about my sweetheart, angelica!
angelica has a 3 year old daughter, so she is a literal mom friend
her daughter was born when she was 17 years old and still in high school
she did her best to balance school life with mom life and ended up getting that diploma
she moved into hideaway apts with her daughter after getting her cosmetology license
she spends a considerable amount of her time working, but what she doesn’t spend at work, she spends trying to give her daughter a really good life
her daughter spends 2 weekends every month with her father, angelica’s ex-high school sweetheart, so expect angelica to feel a little aimless while her daughter isn’t around
since becoming a mom, she’s picked up a lot of “mom” activities-- she likes to cook and bake, she’s learning to knit, and she’s even starting to garden (she has many plants)
angelica is a very sunny personality, she’s incredibly kind and optimistic and just a big ol’ sweetheart-- but she can be kind of childish still and can struggle to understand people’s emotions sometimes (in the sense of like “why aren’t you happy right now?”)
she’s also still very romantic and very starry-eyed like she just wants LOVE
some vague wanted connections: a best friend, a flirtationship, someone who helps her re-learn how to have fun like a young person, maybe a sad/angry person who she keeps trying to cheer up but is just NOT having it
Smile at strangers. Do good things. Give your friends some advice. Enjoy your life. Love your life. You’ll never know how you could inspire people with these simple acts of kindness. Remember: little things do matter.
