I swear we do not have this much pretty stationeries in the Philippines. I need those 20 varieties of sticky notes, those pretty planners and hundreds of highlighters and pens. 

The closest thing we have here is National Bookstore and SM Stationery.

When stressed, buy new pens.

We are only a month away from the new academic year and I’m already stressing over the fact that I would be facing the “real hell” of law school. I will be on my second year and I feel like I still haven’t adjusted enough. This time I will be adjusting once more because teachers are now expecting more from us since we’re already sophomores. So I thought of that one therapy that always works every time I overthink and kill myself with negative thoughts: buying new stationary. Luckily, it worked. And surprisingly, I somehow got excited to write notes because I have new pens again lol.

WHAT I GOT:

A new set of Stabilo Swing Cool pastel highlighters because the ones I bought last month are already running out of ink…or, maybe one just can’t have enough highlighters.

Chosch gel pens which I’m excited to try. I love the packaging because it reminds me of Muji pens; more importantly, I love frosty bullets. The 8-piece set is worth P129.75 which is I believe is already pretty decent. They likewise have retractables which I’m aiming to get soon. (I might post a review of these pens this week just in case you would like to see how they are). 

Dong-A Pastel Twin Color Pen. The set contains five colors for P110.75. I’m planning to use these to underline and encircle important terms to further emphasize them. Moreover, underlining and encircling terms make it easier to identify important terms especially when you could only glance at your books or reviewers.

Flags. I’m actually a fan of flags on books, they make it easier to locate the important lines and/or paragraphs. Plus it has that psychological effect of making you feel you have read a lot (or maybe it’s just me haha!)

Korean-style notebooks. This one is actually an impulse buy (although frankly the others are too). I recently finished the Korean drama Who Are You: School 2015 and I was inspired by the notebooks they used. It also reminded me of the notebook my Korean classmate gave us when we were in first year high school so maybe it’s just the nostalgia talking :D.
