Made with faux raven feathers, Angus is wearing a black suit that falls half-way down his frame and graceful wings that hang, lively, on his back. His hands are covered in black body-paint, long fingernails adorned with more feathers. He is wearing Howl’s green pendants in each ear, and his curly ebony hair has wispy feathers woven in between each curl. His look is complete with face make-up that gives the illusion feathers are growing from his skin and a lovely dark-shadow look for his eyes. His brother, Sage Hwang, is dressed up as Howl the first time we encounter him in the movie. The two brothers decided to pair up for this year’s halloween costumes. @eoniahq

𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐔𝐒 𝐈𝐒 𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐕𝐀𝐍𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐀 𝐑𝐔𝐌. Besides wine, rum is the only other alcoholic beverage that he drinks. Tequila, vodka, beer—— all of that lands too heavily for him. He prefers the warmth of rum laced with ample sweetness. He's pouring himself another cup and watching Sage from across the coffee table centered in the Hecate common room. It's twelve AM and they started drinking two hours ago after Angus walked in on Sage doing coursework and placed the bottle of rum in front of him.

And so he'd convinced Sage into getting drunk with him. the lack of inflection in the man’s tone leaves rory unsure if he’s being judged or not and he defaults to thinking the worst, because why would this time be any different. there’s almost a silent satisfaction in the man pocketing the emerald, one rory finds himself caving to internally with a smug thought.

“not usually,” he admits with a shrug. “only if i can’t sell them. then they’re of no use to me. but hell, an emerald is still an emerald.” he doesn’t recognize the man in front of him, but that’s no surprise, given that rory doesn’t make the effort to get to know anyone who won’t be of use to him. some people have wormed their way in, but it was not intentional.

he puts his flask away and lights up a cigarette instead, needing something to occupy his hands more than a container of alcohol will. “for what it’s worth, i thought you’d catch it.”

Ideas for charms and spells come to him erratically, often times being hit-and-misses, but he always gets the sense that being around the origin of materials—— especially in the case of charms—— helps in figuring out what he can do with them. He has never received a gem from a child of Hades and Angus is curious to find out more even though it happened on an absentminded whim.

❛ For what it's worth, ❜ Angus is quick to add, ❛ I did step out of the way, so I suppose I can easily forgive your carelessness. ❜ He spares a glance at the now-smoking demigod. He has never seen someone who drinks from a flask so openly and notices that this stranger doesn’t give off an overall sound impression at all. Angus doesn’t mind too much, but in a regular setting he’d be avoiding him. ❛ So you only sell these gems ? ❜ He asks, ❛ You don't find a use for them yourself ? ❜

though angus has a point and he could run to the lake in no time at all, the idea of showering in a lake was less than appealing. “ if i do that, i’ll smell like lake water. not a fan of that. ” it wasn’t his favorite scent, some sort of mustiness and just a hint of grass. “ sprinklers could work though. if they’re not on, i might just end up screwed, hm? any chance you’ll just let me into another house with a functioning shower? might be better than trying to hunt down some sprinklers. ”

𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓 𝐎𝐏𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, but then Angus remembered the state of the Hecate bathroom. It's nothing overtly unsanitary, of course—— rather it's an odd assortment of jars filled with homemade creams and shampoos and soaps that all sit messily wherever the residents found space to put them. But the real culprit is the bathtub. Angus took a bath this morning and when he drained the water he didn't pick up the damp magnolia's he soaked in for an hour. He smells like citrus-honey, but he doesn't need anyone to find out how.

Except for the fact, of course, that Angus can't deny an earnest request. He levels the stranger with a look before he turns his head and begins leading him to the Hecate residence hall.

❛ Fine, follow me, but I urge you not to touch anything in the restroom except the shower. Not even the walls. ❜

“i didn’t ask if you were busy. i asked if you would be my entertainment for the next few hours. and asking was merely a courtesy, i am no longer feeling courteous. i’ve read enough today. you know i’m just going to sit here and bother you until you come with me, so it’s really your choice on how we waste our time today.” noor finished with a bright grin.

❛ You must think me a circus monkey to be demaning entertainment from me like this, ❜ he is, however, about to entertain her; there's not a doubt in his mind that she will continue to nag him until he goes somewhere with her. ❛ But I'll oblige because you'll just use your charmspeak on me anyways.
