We can already tell a lot about him being in love in the game, clearly he is obsessive and when he falls in love he falls in love hard.
The kind to get on his knees and worship the ground you walk on.
Show him any hint of affection and his love will double each time.
"My lady.. I would do anything for you! I WILL do anything for you! Do you want me to tear out my own heart for you to see?! "
As much we you have energy and as much as you love him, sometimes he can be a little too excited. Please be gentle, put your hand on his shoulder, remind him he doesn't have to be so worried all the time. He doesn't have to stress or keep working hard on pleasing you, you already love him.
You will physically see his shoulders relax and his eyes turn to hearts. He would melt into your arms and not say a single word. The kind to sit in YOUR lap not the other way around. He doesn't mind if you're tall, short, chubby, skinny. He IS sitting on your lap or at least laying his head on it. Pet his hair, remind him you love him, remind him he is safe and that he is not a monster.
He will wake up with night terrors of what happened to Columbine and he will feel horrible. Hold him, remind him you still love him and that he isn't an evil beast.
This guys whole existence is teasing and being an inappro guy, but then you walk into his life and it's all turned around. He suddenly feels something he never felt. Not even when he stole Columbine from Pierrot. No, this wasn't about hurting the other guy, this was him. Pierrot wasn't even interested in you so technically Harle had no job.
Will actually soften once he feels safe enough with you. You can't convince me that a man whose whole life is about hurting another isn't hurting on the inside.
Please hold him when he finishes after a long day. Don't speak, don't mention it. Just hold him for now. At least until he can figure all of this out.
"Don't... Just don't... I don't know what's wrong with me, but being here helps so shut up. "
You two tease back and forth all the time but if you ever bring up a moment of his weakness up in a teasing thing he will full on end things. He can't trust you anymore.
Pretend they didn't happen, but also remember them. Remember exactly how he likes his hair stroked, how he loves his back rubbed and how you are not to talk if he sobs.
It didn't take him by shock when he fell in love with you, he always was one step ahead of everything. That can't be said about how it made him uncomfortable though. He is fully convinced it's a weakness that he loves you and that he feels anything towards a human.
At first it's the uncomfortable feeling, and the disgust then he is hit with a train of worry.
Obviously you knew he wasn't human but what would happen if they needed to relocate the circus fast? Would his heart be able to bear leaving you behind? Or will he be selfish enough and ask you to abandon your entire life for him and the circus.
I feel like a relationship with him will end in a breakup, for the sole reason that he loves you. He loves you so much he can't drag you into the circuses mess and his mess.
For the short time you are together he acts like his cocky self and kisses you with no trouble, he really is good stuff masking his worries.
"Come here pet. We gotta talk. You're not in trouble.. It seems this time I am the one in trouble. We must end this... Relationship of ours for reasons that benefit me and the circus. I will not elaborate further. Just know. I still love you kitty. "
He won't be caught dead crying or saying its to protect you, he's doing it only to seem like a tough guy and remain in control. Even if you hate him for this he thinks it's easier to be your jerk ex than a man who loved you and you loved and god tore away from him.
Now this man is very science based and I think kind of autistic in the Sheldon way.
Okay so he loves you now. Gathers his notebooks, his journal, and books on human feelings.
Studies every second of your time together. He never says it is love at first. The second he feels something he studies the differences between crushes, attraction, passing fancies, and true love.
Now if you're lucky and this mans studies lead him to actually being with you be prepared to be invited to his tent and test sessions more often.
I can't see him loving an idiot so I feel he would like someone book smart, but socially vulnerable. He would ask your opinions on his newest studies and newest patient (victim).
Would call you over when he is studying something more human so you can be a source of information since you live as a human.
Weird questions. "What would you describe as empathy, and how does it differ from being weak? "
Now if you're unlucky and it's just a crush he will walk up to you, inform you he has a crush on you and walk away.
"I seem to have developed a mild attraction to you as my studies have concurred. Be not worried, it will fade soon. "
Now this man is mysterious to me. I have no idea what to say about him other than he acts refined.
Kind of like he is always on edge with you and everyone else. He sips tea like a Victorian on a dinner table and eats all fancy.
That is when he isn't drowning in the paperwork. Him and Jester basically run the circus together but he is in a more secretary or second in command place. He handles the petty paperwork. The rent for the land they are on, making sure the food in the food stalls is actually consumable by humans, any possible law suits caused by the others.
He doesn't have time to fall in love, but a quick way to make it to his heart is to help. Make him tea, help him sit on the couch, massage his back and fingers. Tell him he is allowed to relax.
If you make him a proper meal and let him nap he's in love. Starts with small gestures. "Hey.. I'm done for the day... Would you like to have a late dinner with me?"
When he works hard on his desk please put s blanket over him
"Oh? What's this? Thank you dear, but I must keep working. The circus needs to keep running.. Oh.. Is that my favorite tea? Alright but only a 5 minute break my work is of utmost importance."

Sorry for not posting as much I've had family over and celebrated the new year. I'm back now (until my depression hits me again)
I found the part for TT a bit hard to write since he is so mysterious so it might be a little ooc. I genuinely just reached flow state at the end.
