So first of all a little background on the meaning of the song;
The song's lyrics revolve around the concept of monogamy and staying faithful in a relationship, turning down others to stay faithful despite the temptations.
Seeing as the point of view played by the song is that of someone in a faithful relationship, personally it would lead me to believe that either you or mista were in a relationship with someone else, and turned down the others romantic advances.

It could prove that the party turning down the advances did possibly have some kind of physical attraction towards the other; but not enough to be unfaithful.
