Bachelor alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. poked fun at his decision to get a second vasectomy.
In a Friday, Dec. 5, Instagram video, the reality TV star, 44, made a phone call to a doctorâs office receptionist, with the text âMaking THAT call for the third time ⊠Need a punch cardâ above his head.
Luyendyk told the receptionist he needed to schedule another vasectomy. âSnip snap, snip snap,â he said with a smile as Adeleâs âHelloâ played. After scheduling the appointment, he told the receptionist, âSounds good,â and gave the camera a thumbs up.

Luyendyk and Lauren Burnham welcomed their fourth child, Livvy Rowe, on Sept. 18. They also share daughter, Alessi, 6, and 4-year-old twins Senna and Lux. Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham, 34, tied the knot in Jan 2019, about 10 months after getting engaged on The Bachelorâs After the Final Rose.
After Senna and Lux were born, Luyendyk said in February 2022 that he underwent his first vasectomy.
In the spring of 2024, Luyendyk explained that he wasnât ruling out adding more kids to his family in a Q&A on his Instagram Stories. âA year ago, I would have said 100% no wa,y but Iâm feeling more and more like I rushed the vasectomy,â he wrote over a picture of Alessi. âDonât know yet what the future holds, but rn im loving this stage with them.â
In July 2024, he reversed his vasectomy, which he didnât announce until February 2025.
âWe said that we were done having kids, like, I donât know, a couple years ago,â Burnham explained in their YouTube announcement. âBut I think weâre going to do it one more time.
âAs you guys know, I got the vasectomy after the twins were born, and ever since then, I donât know, I think I rushed it,â Luyendyk explained in the YouTube video. âHonestly, itâs more on me. I think having the twins was hard at first.â
âAnd then I kind of remember a moment of watching Senna, and sheâs likeâŠall of our kids are like the best age right now,â Luyendyk continued. âAnd I just felt like, âDang it, I think we could do this again.â â

In March 2025, they announced they were expecting their fourth child. That same month, Burnham shared that she experienced a chemical pregnancy before conceiving their fourth child. (The Cleveland Clinic describes a chemical pregnancy as âan early miscarriage that happens before the fifth week.â)
âWe tried and tried,â she explained in a YouTube video. âAnd we were unsuccessful for a little bit, and then we had a chemical pregnancy. Iâve never had a chemical pregnancy before, so I thought that was it. Like we were actually pregnant.â
In April, they announced that they were expecting another baby girl, with an Instagram Reel documenting their intimate gender reveal beside their three eldest children.
The excited parents popped a black balloon that burst with pink confetti for the big reveal. After popping the balloon, their little ones joined in on the excitement and cut into a cake that had pink filling.
