my favorite genre of men are hot priests
bonus points if they’re going through something and miserable
I'm so sick of seeing innocent and helpless Camilla Macaulay propaganda.
what doesn't kill you makes you cry on public transport
Whenever Remus is mad or frustrated and Sirius happens to be around he'll aways take a moment to steady his breathing and whisper a gentle "I'm not mad at you," because even if Sirius never says anything he can see the fear in his grey eyes and tense shoulders and Remus refuses to be the reason his boyfriend feels that way
day ruined at 8:18pm
Firm believer that Remus’ stomach fucking d r o p s when Sirius cries. Like even his eyes just filling with tears makes Remus viscerally ill.
that moment when your attending fully implies that he will be killing himself after giving you his house.
it’s always Whitaker getting put in the most uncomfortable scenarios possible
Sometimes I forget people can be normal and not become wholly consumed by a piece of media that they read or watched.
I think the honest reason why some people don’t want Mel and Langdon to be together is because they consider her to be unconventionally attractive. She’s not what media considers to be a perfect woman but Langdon is considered to be the ideal man so people have a hard time seeing how Langdon would want to be with her in a romantic way (which when you think about it is messed up). As a society we’ve gotten so used to watching a movie or a show with a “perfect” woman and a “perfect” man getting together. Anytime you see a conventionally unattractive woman and a conventionally attractive man they almost always pull the “best friend card” and it gets to a point because they give them romantic connotations purposely but keep them as friends.
Disclaimer: this isn’t hate to people who genuinely want them to stay friends because they like their friendship or for other reasons, it’s more so targeted towards people who refuse to see Mel in a romantic relationship simply because of her looks and or personality.
Remus Lupin (specifically ATYD) reminds me of Richard Papen…and no I will not elaborate.
obsessed with this letterboxd review for CHALLENGERS (2024) by rocky/WAYSTIAR
genuinely what is the point of using ai? do you not enjoy the process of writing? isn’t it supposed to be a hobby/passion? do you not want to feel that pride when you’re done with a chapter and be able to tell yourself “wow, i really wrote that, didn’t i?”?
genuinely, why? where’s the fun in using ai to write?
Remus is famously impossible to wake up after a full moon. James has tried shouting, Peter has tried shaking the bed, and Lily has tried cold water. They all failed. Sirius, however, just sits on the edge of the bed, brushes hair out of Remus’s eyes, and whispers: "Moony" once. Remus wakes up immediately. It infuriates James.
And you just know that Sirius brags about it to James and brings it up constantly just to annoy him.
been smiling a little too hard at pics of older men lately
looking at myself in the mirror after reading smut
In films, we are voyeurs, but in novels, we have the experience of being someone else: knowing another person’s soul from the inside. No other art form does that. And this is why sometimes, when we put down a book, we find ourselves slightly altered as human beings. Novels change us from within.
