Hi! As stated in our schedule page, the application review period will last from the 12th to the 15th of September, and the acceptance/rejection e-mails will be all sent out by the 18th.

Hi there!!First and foremost, thank you for your interest!As for your question:You could upload your pieces to a google drive! Please don’t forget to make it viewable so that we’ll be able to access your work!We’d also like to inform you that this isn’t a submission form, but just an application one- We need you to present some of your pieces so that we’ll be able to review them when applications close. The production period doesn’t start until the 20th of September, so there’s no need to write a piece yet!Have a nice day!

hey there ! I just wanted to ask, since I'm interested in applying to be an artist- about how much fanservice would you consider tasteful? I was thinking of an idea where Tanigaki is drawn during/after the otter incident, and I want to make him (maybe shirtless, maybe more ?) front and center !

Hello there!!

The otter nabe scene is such a great idea! So iconic! 

However, we would really like to keep the nudity to a minimum, so maybe keep it to shirtless? We know it’s a bit hard regarding the character (trust us: we know), but we would really like Ani Matagi to explore all the aspects of Tanigaki’s character. And aside the canon typical violence, we would also like to keep it mostly SFW!

Sadly, in our opinion, fanservice in the manga is more something that happens to himrather than something that makes him. It’s only a tiny part of what could be drawn of him!!

Hello, I would like to know how many artists/writers will there be totally in the final zone?

Hi!

Currently, we’re looking for 3 writers and 25 artists to work on the zine (we might accept a few more, depending on how many applications we get).

But for now, counting the mods (4 of us will draw), it’s 3 writers and 29 artists!

Hihi! Are artists compensated with a free copy of the book or will they have to pay anything at all? Including shipping costs?

This is something we took a bit of time to consider, but the fanzine is going to be for charity! 

The organisation we’ll be donating to will be decided through a poll once all the contributors are accepted, in September, and will be publically announced by then.
